Honor 90 Malaysia user here. It's a good performance phone and categorized as higher mid range phone. News reporting honor 100 pro will launch in November. Hope more great news from honor brand.

I think honor are testing the water with model sales. In all Honesty the pro version is what they should have released globally. I certainly would have paid the extra for one.

The reason behind this is that market sales would go bad for their lineup, that's why they are testing it, so maybe in time go further and then they will make it globally to make sure that sales are going well and then they will make the Pro version. And I think the Pro version will be 700€/$ with 16 GB RAM and 512GB storage.

So basically what I'm saying is that they don't want to saturate their market with the Honor 90 lineup, and that's why they will make the Pro version half of year later when will Honor 90 is sold out. I guess it is a marketing strategy.

@@DrHamezTech yeah it's got a nice design and display much better than redmi Xiaomi or Poco but with no stereo speakers considering other brands are cheaper with a more powerful processor and with stereo speakers it's a hard sell

you can play the video in the gallery itself. In music player, you can download the huawei music player just search it in google

Not having a stereo speaker is not a big deal, I mean who wants to play games using the phone's speakers? Not pretty immersive. That's the reason why earbuds is invented. The real downside of this phone is its camera or its image processing, watercolor effect is really present.

True true you make a very good point but I do like to watch shows and consume content without earbuds 70% of the time so yeah, that's why the speakers are important for me

Speakers are a huge deal once you've used a phone with good ones. Honor has some of the worst I've heard. I don't want to use buds for KZread vids but, with the crap speaker on the 90, I just do.

The phones from Poco F series has very decent duel speakers.

I regret buying Honor 90. The camera doesn't properly focus on object, object becomes blur and background becomes clear, manual focusing by finger also doesn't work. The worst is that the lens are flipping changes when I focus on the object, so I cannot take photos properly. I suspected the system bug, but Honor shop staff said it's not system bug...also no copy clipboard when sharing contents like Google map, not equipped very basic setting.. So happy to have Vivo phone now, no such problems with Vivo phone.

Are you using honor launcher or custom?

Power button too low..con, yes speakers lousy & loudness also gone case, head heavy for this phone..can't see remaining ram (or is there a way to see it?)..Good & can read under sunlight. Yes the biggest con are the speakers...should have stereo speakers. Yes price vs value still ok

Yeah wouldn't say it's too top heavy.. Not too bad balance.. Yeha biggest disappointment are the speakers 😕🔊

My Dad has one so I tried emulation and I used dolphin emulator to play mario kart Wii and on 2x resolution its very nice it has crisp 60fps

Purchase Honor 90 in Dec 2023. Now REGRET IT KZread videos stutter and get stuck. Nothing is intuitive. Looks like Samsung, but buttons are on opposite sides. I find HONOR 90 annoying!

Personally haven't used the Vivo but can highly recommend the Honor 90

It's been really good phone apart from the battery which drain super fast. I could not pass 5 hr. SOT😢

I want a refund. At 66watts charger takes me 2hrs 15 mins to reach 100% Old vivo v21 at 33 watts Takes me 1 hr to reach 100 % battery charge. The camera of honor 90 is a scam When you take photo you will notice a watercolor effect on for a example you take a photo of somewhere not so far maybe 5 meters you will notice its blurry or water colored.

Might want to check your charger cos kine works fine.. Could be the heat from your surroundings also causing it to delay.. As for the cameras yeah.. You will need to tweak some settings to give less effects/filters which most China phones tend to do

It works perfectly well for me, full battery in about 40 mins. You must be living in the dessert or using phone while charging.

This is a very cheap and poor quality phone. I will stick with my iPhone Pro max 14.
