Thank you so much for this detailed video on how to change a cracked screen on a Honor 9 lite. I followed your video step by step but unfortunately i pierced my battery trying to remove it, I think they must of used the glue they use to fix the tiles to the space shuttle 😜 I ordered a new battery there very cheap and then back to your video to continue. So after glueing both sides I held my breath why I powered it on and Hey presto it sprung into life and now works fine phew. 👍👍👍👍👍

Your Video is quite good, and I even managed the replacement process with it, thank you! I heated the phone on a heat plate with silicone tissue für heat conducting about 20 sec because I have no heat gun. Worked fine, take care not to overheat the phone (especially battery). Really hard to remove was the battery but I managed it by "cutting" the clue away with special flat metal tool (not knife!). The assembly was quite straightforward, I suggest to test the device before glueing it together. Many people may have a display glue tape, as me, but I did not use it. But I used very small amounts of glue because I have a thin glue nozzle. Take care of dust particles on the cam lenses and windows.

@@piroskabenedek5802 It COULD work, but hair dryers produce very less heat so it can take a while to melt the glue. Your hair dryer can also overheat and crash. I tried it but gave it up.

Bought this phone almost 3 years ago, always kept it as good as possible and after a while I started noticing problems with the touchscreen(burnt pixels,ghost touch,etc..)and of course all of this started after the 2 years, that is when the warranty was already over. I've the feeling companies are releasing phones that puntually start to fuck up after 2 years. It's not even worth spending over 150$ on them. This phone as many others revelead itself as trash.

This video was absolutely fantastic though I have to point out an issue I came across. I think it was specific to the replacement screen I bought though: There was a small tab that was disconnected and separated by a piece of white paper. I connected this but the touch screen didn't work when I put the phone back together. I dismantled again and fiddled with the tab that came disconnected. Hard to explain in word but the loose bit needed fully inserting into the space and there was some kind of little lock that needed flattening down and then it worked. I don't think the replacement screen on this video came disconnected in the same way so if yours does check it's working before you re-glue it back together.

I replaced the screen following all the steps suggested in the video but, when I turn on the phone, I can see no image on the display. If I push the power button, the phone restart and I can feel the vibration, but the screen remain gray, lightened in the back, but without any image and I can't use the phone. If I put in charge, I can see the green light, so the recharging system seems to work correctly. Any suggestion? I replaced also the battery and the flat flex that connect the charge connector with motherboard

I just think it's a piece of plastic you get the tools when you buy a screen and I just used a guitar pick but you must heat it first.
