Next time you go to Honolulu you must try the Hula dog. They serve them on a bacon taro bread that is amazing. Very unique and delicious.

Oh man, the entire time you two were asking "is this hot sauce" all I could do is scream at my monitor "YES, IT'S NOT WATER!!" LOL When we were growing up, my mom used to threaten to wash our mouth out with chili pepper water (sorta like how moms would threaten to wash your mouth out with soap). Also, the two of you should have gone to Liliha Bakery to try their Coco Puffs!

Loco moco was originally made on the Big Island when some surfers wanted a cheap meal because they couldn’t afford a Hamburger. The cook made a meal of whatever was still left at closing time. The original diner is still serving it today.

As Kitra is asking questions "Is this really Hot Sauce?" "Would you drink this?" In unison, the three of us answered YES and NO!!! 😄😄😄😄😄 You two crack me up! I make loco moco and mac salad at home. Soooooooo good!!! Trying shave ice for science. It's a duty we all must endure. LOL!! We did Matsumoto Shave Ice on the North Shore and Waiola Shave Ice in Honolulu. We preferred Waiola.

I absolutely love you guys!! a side note Im a bartender and I make my Mai Tais with Orange and Pineapple juice... However the original recipe for a Mai Tai is silver rum, lime juice, simple syrup (or triple sec) Orgeat or Amaretto for the almond flavor and a floater of dark rum, much different than most people think... I still like the orange and pineapple version though.

The chili pepper water had me laughing so hard I was literally yelling no no don't do it lol it's the best with Kalua pig and Lau Lau though 😅 Also Kamehameha bakery opens at 5am so the reason for no lines and empty trays we're you guys came after the rush they were almost sold out by the time you guys went😊 so don't worry there good😅

Hey next time try to visit Liliha Bakery. One on the Nimitz and one in Macy's in the Ala Moana Center. Everything is good there but their Cocoa Puff pastries are famous!

Leonard's originals are our favorites too, and we've tried em all! Matsumoto's Shave Ice is great. Liliha bakery cocoa puffs are good too. And there's a little Korean BBQ place on Kuhio a couple of blocks in from Kapahulu that's also a great deal and really good food (the name escapes me...). This was a fun video to watch!

Bright Suns OA in OAHU. Love it. Drink Chili Water. Do you. Your pain is our gain. I didn't know that was a condiment, so now when I go, I know better. Thank you for pronouncing Kamehameha (Ka-me ha-me haaaaaaa) like Goku from Dragon Ball (Japanese for "Turtle Destruction Wave"). Kamehameha (Ka-meha-meha) was King of Hawaii. Every culture has their interpretation on sweet fried dough: Beignets, Malasadas, Donuts, Buñelos, Churros, Zeppoles, and they're all amazing done right and done fresh. Hopefully the world will reopen and I meet you in the wild back in California. You two are awesome.
