My team is IL,Ting Yun,Huo Huo and Gepard. For me this fight is really easy because my Gepard shield can tank all the damage like nothing.

I don't like bosses that can summon mini clones 😭 it gets really confusing

The most annoying thing is even tho i had to struggle so much to beat it in the end according to lore we lose and it just disappears on its own

Its trying to say that its a giant trial to even endure a powerful cloned shade of an Emanator for (canonically) less than a minute. You survived.

This is probably the best stage for Argenti, like it was made for him.

GOD. i managed to defeat it with bailu (her revive was SOO useful), gepard, trailblazer and sushang ( it took so much time though) . Gepard really managed to save my sanity lol. Never again.

I use gepard, Huohuo, fuxuan and jingliu and yet the second phase kills me everytime.😭😭😭

I struggled so much against this, really made me feel how hard being f2p can be sometimes 😭 Finally beat this boss after building March specifically for the fight. Somehow my entire team of Welt-Blade-Bailu-March survived and the latter two literally carried 😭

i defeated this boss with luocha, tingyun, pela and dhil in ome try! if you still can’t defeat it and have these characters, please give it a try!

I used Natasha and Fire MC, it works too. The support can be either a max out Pela or Tingyun. As for DPS I used sushang, but DHIL works better of course

Just beat this boss with Fire MC, Herta, Clara and Huohuo. Just time your shields, AoE, and heals and keep track of your skill points. Took me a couple of tries, had to figure out when the Boss was gonna use its Ultimate and Id would try to save skill points for Huohuos cleanse and restore and shield before the ultimate on the second phase.

I used kafka sampo natasha and gepard (f2p). It worked out fine just have to get slightly lucky with who the boss attacks and i usually ignore the minions as my kafka ult kills all of them so i dont have to worry about it.

I have tried about 6 times now and I can't beat this boss for dear life

hiii, if anyone needs help, i just beat the boss with bronya, sushang, welt and huohuo :) my team is pretty f2p. on the first phase, i focused on beating the little bugs and on the second one, prioritized defeating the fire bugs and then the boss. super tip: any healer you are carrying, on the second phase try to consistently heal, even if they have 80% hp, since the ball the boss drops does pretty big dmg.

I finally beat the boss after like 30 attempts in the space of going away and coming back later my team was Natasha, Pela, Dan Heng IL and Gepard

I've beaten this boss as a F2P (on 5th try) with March 7th, Clara, Hanya and Fu Xuan and I still don't know how, but I think timings were in my favour (Scarab hitted Hanya under March's Shiled so all stuns went at her)

This boss crushed my team even in first phase... My team was Jingliu, Gepard, Huohuo and Inhibitor Lunae😢

Never thought a big bug got the whole DJ set

took me at least 10 tries but in the end march plus food buffs was what saved me lmao

I was hanging on for dear life with my lvl 60's: Gepard, Lynx, March, and Pela. I was so happy that I cleared out Phase 1 after 20 mins... only for my Lynxy to be brutally beaten up.

I tried 2 team that works, argenti, bronya, tingyun and luocha.. Though tingyun dies at the end... The other team that works so much better is clara, ruan mei, tingyun and luocha.. If you dont have ruan mei, you can replace with march to aggro the enemy, or lynx to also give aggro. If no luocha, you can try with any other healer that can make your whole team survive. I dont generally recommend topaz in this fight, the bug doesnt have fire weakness, and it will make topaz sp negative if you kept changing your target (you can't keep the same target either given how the bug summon more and more enemies if so. all in all, this boss require you to have some sort of blast/aoe dps, such as clara, argenti, dhil, jingliu. Single target probably doesn't work that well, atleast not topaz alone, maybe seele or the upcoming ratio can help with that. But again, generally, just go with an aoe dps. Its much easier that way

bro really has the ability to make artificial black holes (or a fused energy ball thing), definitely more powerful than the true sting, too bad it’s not in SU

This boss took me approximately 40 attempts, 35 skill points and a new built character;-;

Jingliu, Pela, Natasha and Blade to well handle that boss. Argenti works perfectly against that! My main used Argenti, Luocha, Tingyun and Silver Wolf. My side used Jingliu, Pela, Clara and Lynx. (I used Jingliu, Pela, Natasha and Blade instead in the Story)

I have not reached to this part of the story quest just yet but what I am thinking about using are Argenti, huo huo,Gepard and bronya , let’s see what happens that is if I am going to win the fight in the first case or not, ok finished that quest took me 2 tries to defeat that boss, who could have thought a beautiful and elegant lady like Ruan mei could make a such a disgusting and nasty beast😅

Argenti is definitely good here. This boss (like any story boss) doesn't outright require 5star limited units, but having certain ones, of the right elements and maybe Erudition, is great.

i'm on my 23rd attempt, my original team was danheng IL, silver wolf, bronya and lynx, that didn't work so i replaced silver wolf with pela, that also didn't work so i replaced pela with march (i have no other preservation characters other than fire mc), march is e6 so she gets me through like half of the second phase but then i get one shotted. but whatever i'll build my characters a bit more and return to this quest im so over it

I recently just got back to the game and then tried to brute force this boss using seele, sw, lvl 60 natasha with bad relics and fire mc but it somehow worked after 7 attempts lol (The next day I learned that this boss resist 40% quantum damage bruh and my sw always give the boss fire weakness instead of quantum)

I've beaten this boss using Jingliu, HouHou, Lady Fu and Fire MC unfortunately, Lady Fu got taken out at the last phase :(

If the bug has a shield on, just focus on the minions that way it won’t spawn another one after its turn.

I thought argenti would be able to finish this better, but by the time the fight ends, tingyun still dies eitherway lmao. My team was argenti, bronya, tingyun, luocha... funnily, i tried this again but with support ruan mei instead of support argenti.. And used clara as the dps, alongside tingyun and luocha. No one dies, the fight become so much more easier as clara busting all that bug haha

Yeah Blast DPS like Clara, Jing Liu, and DHIL are the best for this boss. The reason is they break the toughness for this boss pretty quickly compared to Argenti

Swap bronya or tingyun for phy mc , breaking the boss is more important here. I used argenti phymc pela and gepard, I did it on first try. Phy mc really helps on shredding the shield shile argenti is charging. Also try to give max break effect to phy mc and break the bug with mc only to get max damage.

Use jingliu welt bronya and lynxit did tge job for me just use some consumables for extra

Okay after almost one week, I beat it Imbibitor lunae Fire mc Argenti Natasha Omg it was so frustrating 😢

I tried luocha fire trailblazer clara and yanqing (f2p). got to 2nd phase with 100% hp on everyone with no buffs. BUT they took out my luocha 🥲and then it all went to shit. This was after about 4-5 tries. I know my world level thing is probably too high for my team but they are all at Lv80 and I'm trying to max out their abilities. Could it be cos my relics are all at L1?🤡 Other characters I have (worth mentioning) if anyone can suggest a better team: blade, kafka, welt, tingyun, bronya.

I beat this Bug with Geo, Luocha, Aghenti, JingYuan after losess many times.

hoyo should nerf this boss. there is no reason for it to be this hard when im being forced to defeat it to continue the main storyline. and locking an event behind is ridiculous. turn based games will never be f2p friendly and this is proof lol

This boss is definitely F2P friendly and you can find plenty of people fully able to beat it with 4stars, even free 4stars (especially with who they just added). It is also, however, the first that asks you to have a more dedicated and built team for it, and that's problematic for people starting out. I wouldn't mind a nerf, but I don't support a major one.

Switch fire mc with phy mc, breaking the bug's shield is more imp. Give them break effect and break with phy mc it will go down fast. That's what I did.

Use Hypercarry team + don't forget to use consumables. Use 2 sustain, a healer like Natasha and a Shielder like Fire MC. As for F2P 4 star DPS, use Sushang but if you don't have her, use whatever DPS you have, blast and AoE DPS works the best. Use Pela or Tingyun as support.

@@isellpans I finally did it just that it took too long but at the end everyone was full hp and no one died. I basically didn't attack the boss in 2nd phase when it was in Multiply mode, only attacked when he was out of it and always prepared for the shields or heals. I did attack him in multiply only when it was easy to break. Hopefully you also do it bro 👍🏻

What are people whining about I beat this with lvl 50 bailu, asta, himiko, and trailblazer fire One attempt and the relics were bad too

Imaginary, Physical, Ice and Quantum units are going to do good work here. If you're not stacked with 5 star units, Herta is going to do better than expected. QQ and Physical MC are surprisingly good choices.

Using Dan Heng il, Blade, Silver Wolf and Lynx someone help its the last 10% that gets me 😭

I think its because we're supposed to take advantage of the weakness break for this boss.. which is impossible to achieve if we use any other elements

@@jerryeljeremy7790 It is severely elemental weakness dependent. With the new Ruan Mei helping further with that, and Argenti a great choice. Older 5stars are also useful though, and it should still be very possible with 4stars. But they have to be of relevant elements (so not Elec/Wind).

i cant even beat phase one and im already done -- my team is holding on for dear life atp -- and now i find out theres a second phase... LORD
