Actually, at first, I thought that Doctor of Chaos is absurdist, although their main goal is to “make senses” and “prove” the meaning of existence to IX, the embodiment of nihilism itself. Thus, I conclude that DOC are existentialists as existentialism aims to create meanings out of existence, while absurdism seeks no meaning but rather to accept the entropy of existence then “revolt” against the meaningless by live the most of it i.e One Must Imagine Sisyphus Happy. But, in a more pop culture context, their attempts aligned with absurdist fictions for they faced with the meaninglessness, then went through everything to defying and defining their existence.

@@minecraftmemer2043 traditional culture r more emphasis on defining meaning in one life than accepting the meaninglessness, thus leading to overall passive acceptance towards existentialism. For instance, “Your passion” in modernism sense is typically linked as a meaning to one’s existence, as it’s pretty much what you gonna do for the rest of your life.

If I was in HSR world, I would definitely follow Aha, because he is the only one who will never give you up, never let you down or desert you. Edit: And apparently Nihility is just the path to the One Piece, aka Device IX, lol.

Aha is interesting because he isn't just a simple Troll. There's a duality in his intent. The reason is because he sees sadness and elation as two sides of the same coin and sees beauty in what the mourning actors do which also fills him with elation. Aha is interesting because he's both a troll and an empath Unfortunately his masked fools seem to take the trolling part a little too far. It seems that Aha just wants to enjoy the joys in life and find meaning in enjoyment. Sometimes he might take it too far and negative consequences happen, but he likes Akavili, so I think he's just a person looking for company and enjoyment.

I like Aha the most too besides Akivili. Aha does the most random shit just because he wants to and is curious. Like making a litteral worm and emanator and giving it so much intelligience beyond a normal human, just to see if a worm could join the genius society. Didn't work tho, and as soon as all that knowledge and power was removed, the worm died. I like this because it shows Aha does things with no regards as to the consequences of his actions. It's simply living in the exhilaration of it, consequences be damned, and that would truly be elation

These people are probably the ones on copium regretting they ever played Genshin, that's why they made the migration over to Star Rail. Subjectively, I think genshin has the better game mechanics. Star Rail is pretty simple, no? Just turn-based and it's not even online PvP. But also subjectively, I think Star Rail is overall the better game. I immediately got bored of Genshin on my first playthrough. It also just gave me the sense that it really was just the game for you to spend and grind on. I prefer Star Rail for the story, animation, voice-over work, and pretty much everything else.

​@@kaycex1A rick roll is definitely something you would expect the Aeon of Elation to do. It works as a funny 4th wall breaking joke. The Aeon of Elation is so good at being a troll he manages to troll us watching him in his universe. It also is something in line with what he does in the simulated universe, he actually realizes that's it's a simulation. There's been multiple theories that suggest that Aha actually knows that he's in a game. His followers, one of the suspected ones at least, Sampo also actively breaks the 4th wall making it even more of a possibility that they actually know that all of this is just a show or a game and they're just characters in it.

I hope they add path of beauty characters in the future... I want to see the power of beauty..

This is what I'm more excited for Honkai Star Rail, cuz there's so much creativity and potential in the lore to explore with this game.

Good video. I still believe that Aeon of Finality is the Cocoon of Finality which means that Kiana is current Aeon of Finality. I remember that the Herrscher of Finality was called the Herrscher of the End but in the last chapters it was changed to Finality. I doubt that is a coincidence.

​​@@darknessknows1235 i havent got the description for Aeon Of Finality though in the wiki the information about Finality said "The Aeon that moves backward in time and presides over the Path of Finality. The apparition travels across the universe while murmuring a prophecy that is destined to be fulfilled." Considering the Aeon has the concept of Finality, and ability related to Time, it won't be farfetch'd if Aeon of Finality ends up looking like Kiana, or hell it might be Kiana from one of the many worlds in the Honkai verse. Especially considering the fact that Kiana has consistently became a Herrscher that embodies The End or Finality in 2 games now which are HI3rd and GGZ. I also I found it interesting that apparently in CBT 1? of HSR Aeon of Finality name was Aeon of The End, but it got changed into Finality. And the name change was close to when the Herrscher of The End name changed into Finality. As for the name, while we know Aeon of Finality is called Terminus. Considering the trend of important characters in Hoyoverse have multiple names, it might not be the only name it has. But then again Aeon of Finality design is still isn't in the game and I doubt it will be until many updates in the future, but considering the fact Star Rail is still a part of the Honkai franchise there is still a chance Aeon of Finality might ends up looking like Kiana. And besides, it isn't a Mihoyo game without a character looking like Kiana.

This reminds me of Yugioh duel terminal lore, specifically the Qlipoth archetype. They were hidden under the Naturia tree/Tree of life. When they were destroyed, the seal that was inside them broke and let loose the Infernoids, demonic creatures that possessed the power of the flames of the void/nothingness.

If I'm not mistaken, Nanook doesn't have anything to do with stellarons. After beating the Belobog arc, it was cleared up that Nanook is not specifically linked to the stellarons. Plus, the stellaron on Belobog was used to freeze the antimatter legion, aka Nanook's army. Not to mention, the stellarons are sentient.

Ho Oh may not be a Phoenix as in Chinese it’s name is 互 it’s the same for Japanese as well as long as that language has Hanzi. I believe that no matter the language Ho Oh’s name will always reflect each side so it may not be an Phoenix.

Nanook is the embodiment of "if evil, why hot?" Dude is fine.

My theory here as HI3 actually gave hints of Finality that matches with HSR. I think that Aeon of finality might be the Cocoon itself as it was addressed genderless in ch. 35 (same with how they address aeons) when it appears to the trio it took the form of white light that looks like Kiana’s old outfit which then Kiana calls the cocoon as a mirror of herself. In the animation, the story of Kiana is depicted backwards from Finality > Flamescion > blue eyed HoV > White Comet > Kid Kiana.. Going back to Terminus description, it is an “apparition” that “travels backward in time” and presides on the path of Finality.

If Terminus is related to Kiana then it would give even more credit to the theory that Acheron is an Emanator of Finality

I don't think VA is Nanook because there's a lore stating Nanook was from Adlivun. Adlivun was engulfed in war and they said Nanook detonated their own planet because of the never ending war. That also implies that Nanook was once a mortal interesting stuff!

First of all - great editing, wonderful presentation. But I kid you not - I was making a sip of tea at 20:14 and you got me good there. 😂 Also - the Aeons themselves make me wish, that the game was a Hades-esque MMO. You know what I mean? With you selecting a Aeon as your faction, while having them interact with you, once again - Hades-style. That would be hella neat. Maybe one day. Because, while Hoyo keeps up (Lord know how) on the Month-and-a-half schedule of updates, the way, in which they tell the story (the pace that is) would really work for an MMO. But, never the less we're just 10-ish day from release. And I cannot wait to get finally get my hands on it. May this journey lead us starward.

@@Crystal_Clearly yes, that's what I'm addressing my previous post: this video came out BEFORE Honkai Star Rail was released to the public (Simulated Universe was barely touched in the final CBT, and most didn't really look at lore back then because it was subject to change: even the wiki page, which didn't have Aha listed back then).

I don't think nanook is the main antagonist of the story. He may die in the story. My bets are on terminus, aka, "the finality".he was older than nanook, powerful than nanook but they never ever crossed their paths even after having similar paths. I think they'll somehow connect this with hi3 later on.

Nanook is the main antagonist because the way the stellaron is the main problem in different plants we have seen so far. (Belobog and Jarlio X) Nanook is the one creating the stellaron, and of course Elio might be too because he is the one with the plans maybe turn the tides in the plot.

Yep, basically the truth is not even Aeons are eternal, explains a lot of them running around leading to Aeons warring and subsuming each other of the paths

I have a correction about mara struck. I'm not sure if I'm correct, but being mara struck didn't mean becoming a monster. If I'm not mistaken, the mara struck becoming monsters was something that happened due to the stellaron. The mara struck is simply a condition where one of the long lived go insane. Again, not sure if it's correct, but thats what I took from the conversation yiu have when you first enter the xianxhou

i have a question. can the followers of an aeon have different paths from the aeon they follow? for example, himeko follows the path of erudition but she’s a part of a faction (the nameless) of akivili, aeon of trailblaze. another example, jing yuan follows the path of erudition. but he’s a part of a faction (xianzhou alliance) of Lan, aeon of hunt. how is that possible? i’m a bit confused 😅

well bronya is the supreme guardian of a faction that follows preservation but shes harmony so its probably for gameplay and not lore

The path someone follows is depends on what the individual person themselves. They might worship a certain aeon but if they actually doing something else they will automatically ended up it another Aeon's path. Bronya got harmony because she want to unite the overworld and the underworld. March 3rd got preservation because she preserve so many of her memories of her journey with her camera (probably because she don't want to forget anything ever again after her awaken from her time being frozen.)

I find it very interesting how Orobaxi from Genshin is based off of Ouroboros. So here’s my headcanon! The world of Teyvat is a bubble world; a different version of the world in Honkai Impact 3rd/Star Rail. But Genshin and Honkai are leaves in the same branch of the Imaginary Tree. So Orobaxi, being based off of Ouroboros, is the Teyvatian version of Ouroboros, or even more - his brother. Which would mean, in Genshin lore, Orobaxi is a Dragon Sovereign, the rulers before the the First Descender Phanes came along. Seeing as how Orobaxi ruled in the Inazuma area in the modern time of Teyvat, I think he is the Electro Dragon Sovereign, like how Apep is the Dendro, and possibly Dvalin and Azhdaha are the Anemo and Geo respectively. Which leads me to my next point. That Genshin, the more popular side of Hoyo, is a side story of the Honkai series. I mean, think about it. The Archons = The Aeons Leviathans = Dragon Sovereigns And other smaller similarities that I’m too bored to put down. But each Aeon has their own group of followers, like how each nation in Teyvat has their own Archon. In summary, I think that the Genshin and Honkai storylines will merge into one huge story, where the twin (canonically Aether) from Genshin, Kiana, and the MC of Star Rail will join their forces to defeat one -world- universe-threatening being. And for more speculation, here’s how I think the Genshin and Honkai universes will merge. The Abyss sibling (canonically Lumine) will show the MC sibling (canonically Aether) what the truth pf Teyvat is, and eventually they overcome Asmoday and Phanes, for the translation of Genshin Impact is “The True God’s Impact.” (Go from ch to jp to eng but dont translate the genshin part) So once the siblings have taken over, they leave Teyvat in the hands of the Archons (or Paimon I like to think) and explore the other worlds like they used to. Which is how they stumbled upon the Honkai series. That’s my hella long headcanon, let me know ur thoughts!

The video was rather old considering some of these info are incomplete or misheard completely. Akivili status is unknown, but it was marked as an accident in general knowledge. Kafka said that only Nous know what really happened to Akivili. Stellaron wasnt caused by Nanook. It was suggested but theres nothing to support that they're related or Nanook created Stellaron. Nanook were born in Advilun a known barren land which itself is a literal destruction during the Swarm Disaster Era. That disaster trigger Nanook ascend to Godhood.

compared to genshin archons or hi3rd herrschers, I'm having a bit of trouble remembering hsr aeons.. so its nice having a video explaining aeons as someone who doesn't particularly like rummaging through paragraphs of in game lore.

Thanks for the video, I came back to the game after having played 50 days since release and then dipping out for almost 320 days so I had forgotten most of the lore and everytime they say an aeon name I'm like hooh? All I know is qlipoth looks like the type to make a tea party with cupcakes and I love him for that

The xianzhou lore is pretty much what you guessed, except that they're called cancers since apparently the cancerous cells are what causes them to turn into monsters? I guess it's a mutation of sorts

Mythus is definitely the most interesting to me because I often find myself trying to envision even a glimpse of what infinity might be. This often ends in a short case of existential dread, but i continue to do it regardless. I wish there was a way for us to truly understand infinity

I doubt that VA is Nanook. Nanook created the Stellarons and the stellaron on Jarilo VI had been there for 700 hundred years by the time the main story takes place. Assuming that Himeko is a human with a regularish lifespan, she couldn’t have been around that far back to meet up with Welt and VA.

Ena was absorbed by the Harmony. We may discover other Aeons that are part of The Harmony in the future.

What's even deeper hole is if you connect the Honkai Impact's "Captainverse" lore where the Captain character is an actual guy with long history with his Valkyries beyond the main story, he's been travelling to multiple universes 2-4 years before Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail even released all while as a result, he split into multiple alter ego (so far it's divided between Mr Assassin which appears in two Honkai Kingdoms events back in 2019-2020 and Ferryman with Sanka Saga back in the late 2019 respectively) His feats are so ridiculous (asides from 4th wall breaking awareness akin to how Chrono Navi/Lambda/Miss Administrator, Elysia and possibly March 7th, which all of these three too born from possibly the same source of "Pseudo-time Crystals" realm) to the point of holding 4 Divine Keys at once without detriment, even Kevin in Honkai Impact prior to ascension require severe amount of body enhancement modification or Kiana being result of hundreds of Otto Schicksal's experiments in the main story, yet he's also vulnerable when forced to have his memories partially loss temporarily from overusing his 2nd Divine Key, emotional and as stubborn to be helpful as Kiana Kaslana, not to mention of Palatinus Equinox Bianka (which is the strongest evolution of Bianka Ataegina) tells the Captain to be strong enough to have daily training with her, which speaks a lot when Bianka in the story is known to be rigorously athletic at training and physical exercises, the Herrscher of Finality version of Kiana too trains with Captain despite she's going softer on him his stories is tragically only appears in side events and sidelined so hard since Elysian Realm arc and somehow even further during Finality Arc, although there's hints that Mihoyo still doesn't forgot the Captain's records and stories albeit put into the shadows until he and his alter egos being called into Mihoyo's multiversal adventures again, although this one being of more of speculations than of the gathered lore so far, he might be tied to Aeon of Remembrance or at least the biggest alter ego as Mr Assassin to revolving around "memories" and "remembering" via his closest Valkyrie, Rita Rossweisse Also there was name of Rita as template of Honkai Star Rail, it might be as well as being a template, but it's not surprising if Rita can tapped into Mr Assassin or Ferryman powers and proceeds to travels into Honkai Star Rail's galaxy/universe/multiverse but that's a rumour I heard a year ago, not sure if that's even true on that part but for those whose reading this to end, thank you for reading of my experience as a Honkai player back then and ties every lore points between Mihoyo games' ambitions into making their iteration of Multivere series I hope they bring back and continue Captain's "bizarre adventure" events though, even I remember that "Summer Memories" event have Captain being handcuffed by HImeko in his Original universe, swearing an oath of him "will never leave Himeko", months before "Last Lesson" CG animated releases, then Mihoyo brings Rita as mourning company consort for Captain and kickstarts Mihoyo multiverse via his adventures to begin with

@@Science-yBoi Sorry, just someone whose observe and lurking through all of the forgotten lore of older Honkai Impact events related to Captain of Hyperion, which I had all experienced, yet despite this so many players are brushing it as "non-canon" until Honkai Salvation event ties the previous multiverse Captain traveling adventures into connected with the final parts of the main story makes a looot of sense for me, but not to those whose complain that the game's part 1 ending doesn't makes sense to them and it's driving me crazy that these supposed story and lore enjoyers of Honkai Impact EN-speaking fandom swayed it off or worse, cover it up (due to certain, petty excuses but I won't elaborate further) To cut it short, us Honkai Impact players veterans knows Dawei's cheeky writing very well back years ago since late 2017 to 2018 and even continued with the "Captainverse" events, and the self aware 4th wall break jokes have gone so naturally that Mihoyo writers that overseen Honkai Impact main story are trying to grasp back their 4th wall break cheekiness back from Captain's dates with the Valkyries (which haven't been happening yet despite Birthday letters between the Original Captain character (Mr Assassin/Ferryman) and the Valkyries are still going and referencing past events from previous years in real time) And to add it further, there used to be Dawei as actual character in side events and Captain and Bronya used to be able to beat him up in an actual 3D model of the Mihoyo office in-game, it was so hilarious yet very intimate between the devs and the fans, it was before Honkai Impact global server released and rushed through updates while stripped of the original data features which includes Valkyries to be poked with their heart affinity bar makes them having actual romantic bonds with Captain (yes, it was glorious) and it's still there in JP and SEAsia server as Mihoyo still keeps it as guarantee safety and memoirs of the data transmissions throughout all times, oh also there was exclusive free bikini events which none of the new players could access and it's including Himeko, all while even after the poke feature is removed in CN and Global EN server, the next iterations of events have stuffs akin to Rita's CGs and dialogues with Captain too, years before Fallen Rosemary events even started nor even Bianka's first battlelsuit released to add further I want to give more people evidences, unfortunately aside from the lore connection to the upcoming Star Rail might hint of Original Captain of Hyperion alongside Rita being tied to Aeon Fuli or even a certain character akin to Elio might took quite awhile, this on top of how powerful Captain is to "training" with both Palatinus Equinox Bianka and Herrscher of Finality Kiana despite he's not even having body modifications like Kevin nor genetic anomaly like Adam in APHO, and he's a very distinct character too despite we never saw his face directly, although knowing of how Mihoyo makes a very old Ai Chan 2018-2019 parody poster of adult Ai Chan into an actual playable character as Lambda Ai Chan (AFTER 3-4 YEARS), alongside their social media posting the red-haired Captain guy in some strip comics back few months ago after many years of absence, they will bring back Captainverse's OG Captain and his multiverse-travelling Hyperion Ship back, at this point his powers could overwhelms both Imaginary Space and Sea of Quanta knowing that even Herrscher of Finality Kiana requires Captain's helps to break Kevin's universe-tier shielding defence system to finally finished him Captain's feats in the pasts and Odd Drifter will going to get back into SoQ and Imaginary Space's entanglement and will potentially strucks with any Aeonic stars or remnants of Leviathans in Honkai Star Rail just like how Himeko's blade or March 7th Crystalline bed discoveries resembles Elysia and Ai Chans origins in the same Crystallin realms

Is this rita the short hair one(hi3 universer) or the long hair one(the witch, multiverse), because they say that long hair rita is the same as captain, that she also travel across multiverse and those who travel across multiverse is not only them. It will be fun if hsr can meet with captain, witch rita, or other multiversal entity. Also im curious about hi3 trailer(reburn2) with the train, carol and welt, because that train doesn't look the same as the one in hsr and hsr might meet with sky people soon, but without honkai energy what does the sky people want from himeko?

Good video, intersting theory about the travelers of genshin, but I think that they are akivili's follower's or (a crazy theory that I thought) they are instead servants created by Akivili or fragments of him.

Nanook's homeworld was destroyed by the Swarm, which caused him to ascend as an Aeon. Wether that character was Void Archives or not is still up for debate, don't think so.
