What I love about the Luocha trailer, is that when he saves the child, he also hides his sword behind his back, as to avoid letting the kid see the sword. Very classy indeed

Considering apparently nobody has told ya yet, those red flowers in the Blade trailer are called spider lily's which represent death. Which is poetic cz Blade's basically immortal.

My man didn't recognize Otto when he saw him and missed Welt. That's going to be a whole thing to understand :D. As someone for whom Star Rail is my first Hoyoverse game, yeah we are spoiled as heck on our trailers.

Welt Yang at the current moment is the only character that has been brought over from Honkai Impact 3rd. Other characters like Void Archives and Carol may someday be in Honkai Star in future releases (look up Reburn II and Alien Space manga/APHO if needed). All other character Like Himeko, Bronya, and Seele are from the Star Rail universe/mythos.

HI3, GI and HSR in one universe, which consists of many worlds.The "universe" of HI3 is simply one of these worlds. Also Bubble Universes is a mistranslation, they are bubble worlds.

She is called march 7th for a lore reason that you will know abt really early in game

in this game there are no weapon classes, instead they use items that boost stats and add buffs and they have multiple per "Path (which is like a class system and takes the place of weapon types from genshin for example)", but you will learn more about those early on! Also hell yes Kafka is a Top Tier character!

if you really wanna know how hsr relates to hi3 you’ll have to read the alien space manga 👀 it’s basically a prologue to hsr in a way, you can see hsr’s himeko on a screen in one of the panels

In this game you have 7 element with 7 role (Path) which excell in certain category like Aoe, single target, or buffing each character have one role with one element and each of those role or path have their own galactical gods that became the center of the whole story

March 7th picked her own name because she was found by the Astral Express crew on March 7th (frozen in a block of ice drifting in space). When she thawed out she had no memory of her past, couldn't even remember the name. Plus she had no personal belongings that would help identify her origin. That's why she always brings along her camera and takes tons of photos - in case she loses her memory again.

This game have really good story build up so far, we're only at 2nd planet, but we already have many mysteries, lots of cutscenes, a dead playable character and a lot of possible places to visit and events to happen in future updates.

Technically, she's MIA, presumed dead given the circumstances. It's a bit early to tell if HSR wants to follow HI3's pattern of extending character rosters into the lore-wise deceased (While Genshin has yet to reach that point) but If they ever decide to tie up that end, it'll likely be the determining factor on which path Mihoyo wants to go with it. I'm actually worried about the amount of build up they're pumping out at this stage. This much suggestion of later content not only means they're expected to deliver on all of it, but that they will have to add subsequent content and relevant hints to it at a similar rate as well. It all looks...overwhelming to say the least...enough that I'd be concerned of the game dying in some way before it ever reaches its true endgame.

Oh and yeah, guepard is the big Brother of Serval and he uses her guitarcase as a weapon and listen to her songs

March 7th looks more like Elysia to me, her nonchalant attitude as well. 16:00 Loucha = Otto Apocalypse. When Welt first saw Loucha in Star Rail, he also took a step back on guard thinking he's THE Otto again. Only time will tell. Kafka reminds me of Herrscher of Dominance with her ways of playing with the puppet strings.

for the jingliu's trailer, it were indeed violin when u firstly mentioned, but When you mentioned violin for the second time, that part of melody, they used the Chinese traditional instrument called erhu. Just to let u know

I'm jealous of all you guys and gals who jumped aboard the Hoyoverse train years ago,. I started with HSR and want to try Impact for no other reason than to see how the stories/universes collide. But there's just not enough time in my day to get previous games in.

Don't worry, you're not really missing anything if you don't play Houkai 3rd. Although you might understand a couple of references if you have played it. Although the only reason to really play it is to learn about Welt since he's the only one that is actually from the Honkai Impact 3rd universe.

I like how super extra Fu Xuan bursts is but in practice it does not deal that much damage but only use as a small heal to her allies with her trace and a stack for her talent

_HSR_ is another bubble world separate from _GGZ_ , _HI3_ , _Genshin_ , and _ToT_ . Except for Welt Yang and Void Archives, who came over together, everyone else who's familiar is an alternate version of a familiar character, if they're an expy at all. Although it has yet to be confirmed whether Silver Wolf is an older Haxxor Bunny, but she _is_ a Bronie. Which makes it strange since she exists on the same dimension as Bronya Rand, where Bronya Zaychik and Bronie exist on different dimensions. That just makes me think more that she's the same Bronie, and she left the Captain's _Hyperion_ some time after Luna's story concluded. So far there haven't been any indications of where or when Kiana might appear, but where Mei is, she can't be long to follow.

HI3, GI and HSR in one universe - official information. HI3 - in a normal world, not a bubble one, in HSR there is a journey through many worlds on an imaginary tree. GGZ - another universe.

Welt Yang is the only character that is directly from Honkai Impact

Seele and Bronya have a good gameplay synergy. Bronya's skill immediately gives an extra turn to an ally while Seele gets an extra turn if she defeats an enemy. Put them on the same team and you get to attack a lot before the enemy gets to do anything. As for whether you need to play HI3 before Star Rail - not really. There is almost no overlap. Sure, you get a few nice easter eggs, but other than that it's a separate game set in a different universe. Welt is the only character from Honkai Impact 3rd.

You closed the Silver Wolf demo too early. At the end there was a clip showing that she is a wanted criminal with a bounty of over 5 billion credits placed on her. BTW she constantly breaks the 4th wall. For example, during her first banner she pestered the MC with messages encouraging to pull for her. Also it's pretty funny that she saved Kafka in her phone as "That woman".

There are a few anime style trailers for this game I think you might like those.

Just to clarify since you mentioned during Yanqing's trailer that his ability seemed to slow things down, Star Rail is a turn based game so any slo mo you see during abilities is purely for cinematic effect.

Star Rail is a different Universe. The Story goes that Welt used Cosmic Juggernaut (Aka The Cosmic Key that somehow is a Train) to travel to this Universe. Many Characters are simliar but have vatly different personalities and Pasts. Think of it as Honkai Impact 3rd if Honkai never happend but with a Train in space ....yeah it sounds weird and the Story is not as strong as Honkai but still better than Genshin imo. Btw: Since Kiana was a clone made by Otto, I doubt she ever will appear in Star Rail since she was never part of the "Natural order" (Though I wouldn't mind seeing our best Girl again....also Mei!)

It’s just not a reference, it’s actually canon. If you were around during the Ai Lambda corruption event, played APHO 2, and read the supplemental material, an interesting fact is made clear: honkai impact is a real game in the hoyoverse, and through Ai it was distributed interdimensionally across the Imaginary Tree.

Why wouldn't I wait? doing it instantly after genshin probably would have gotten more views but I want to see what the game would be like after sometime, plus a lot of people were not too fond of star rail during that time so I was skeptical to even try it out until now! Also I do these reactions for fun eventually I want to switch my channel from reactions to something more original...
