    Wow, this is an amazing pen! You did a great job explaining what it all represents. Unfortunately, I am rather ignorant of China and cannot appreciate the pen nearly as much as it probably could be appreciated. I wish there were some European themed pens of such quality and with such an abundance of references in that price range, perhaps an Ancient Greek or Roman themed one.

    Yh I have seen Hongdian and a few other chinese fountain pens exploring interesting themes and ideas. The pricing on the pens are quite amazing. One brand that does go all out on history and special editions is Montegrappa however.
