I like the way you travel to offbeat places because most people miss out on these places as they only go to tourist spots but i think if you really want to experience any country then you need to visit places like this, that’s what I do, If you loved the cable car ride then if you ever visit Vietnam go to bana Hills you gonna love it. 3 Hongkong dollar for a tissue 😂 Waiting for more videos ✌🏻 Good work

I super agree! Every country really has so much to offer, beyond what tourist attractions list we find online. I'll surely go to Vietnam soon!! Yeah, free tissue is rare in HK!

I will be in HK this Nov. Also by myself.. im gonna use your itinerary for some places i havent tried.. would u mind giving me idea how to ride a bus, like if theres an app you use as a guide etc? 😄

Hi Mich! That sounds exciting! When riding the bus in Hong Kong, make sure you have your octopus card with you for a hassle free payment. You can pay with cash, you will drop your exact payment in the box inside the bus. In my experience, buses in Hong Kong are on time, and in every bus stop you will find a board with schedules, there’s a code for every route/bus. You will just have to wait for the earliest arrival. I didnt use any app for the bus schedule but what I noticed is if you search on Google Maps for a route, it will give you the correct, bus stop, bus code and time schedule! Thank you this means a lot to me ❤️ to get to the bus station to go to Tai O from the Ngong Ping Village, you will have to walk back to the Ngong Ping Village and find the Bus Terminus, it will be a long walk again. As far as I can remember, it’s near the shop with “Walking with Buddha - Now Showing!” Mural.

Thank you very much! I leave my hotel at 7 or 8am but I arrived at Ngong Ping Cable Car around 10am. I finished my solo tour for the day until my dinner around 9:30pm!

Hi Mich! When you’re facing Tian Tan Buddha, there’s a pathway to your left that leads to the Wisdom Path! Walk straight there and you will find signs that points toward the right path. It’s a long walk so you might feel like you’re going the wrong way but just keep in going and you’ll get there!

What time did you go in the cable car? Is the queue for the crystal cabin + long?

Hi Andrewendy! I got to Ngong Ping Cable Car at 10:20 am, and I was the first one to ride the Crystal Cabin. There is no long queue when I got there. But I was told that a Crystal Cabin only comes every 10-15 minutes, so it's better to come early.

is smoking free there? I'm looking for information about smoking areas before traveling there

Smart! I was a heavy smoker when I visited Hong Kong and kind of struggled to find places to smoke. Most of the time, I observe where the locals gather to smoke or where the cigarette trash bins are. When I am unsure, I ask the locals, sometimes they smoke in areas where there are no smoking signs. I try to not break any rules because I’m just a tourist and I might get into trouble. Locals might get away with it and I might not so I never risk it.
