Interesting fact; the castle at Hong Kong used to be a clone of Disney lands castle, but the Hong Kong, Disney management wanted a bigger castle, so what they did is built the huge part behind the original Disneyland castle, that’s why you can actually see the outline in the front of the original. Kind of cool.

Wow HK Disney has changed so much since i was there in 2010! I only remember the Jungle Cruise, Small World and a carosel ride. Of course, it poured down rain for half the day we were there...

I love the fact you shared about it's a small world - that at all times the sun is shining on the small world and the song is playing somewhere in the world! I wanted to add that in each room of the ride there is a sun and moon to represent that everyone in the world lives under the same sun and moon - at the end of the day we are all simply members of the human family. It's a small world!

Mystic Manor is a bucket lister for me! I'm glad you guys got to experience that amazing attraction! I may be scratching a lot of bucket list coasters off my list due to my amputation, but most Disney rides are a go for me!

Oh my gosh, you guys. Mystic Manor, then wow, Jungle Cruise!? Reminded me of my childhood in the 60’s - don’t forget to brush your teeth! The Book show… wow, that would fit in well at DL. kinda miss the Magical Map but it did go on forever. Something similar would be very cool. (Nothing against our DL Lion King, totally love that, does not need replacing) Oh yes, whimsical sweat, what a delight! So happy you went on this adventure for us all, I would never make it. Would love to visit Hong Kong… in the Fall or Winter…

I would love to hear a top 5 ride list after you get home. Truly is a trip of a lifetime and thank you for sharing with us

Im so happy your wallet was turned in and you got it and everything back. I did that once yrs ago at Sea World. I set my little case down and fogot it. I had my annual pass, money, credit card, camera and 4 rolls of my trip film. I checked with lost and found the next morning and everything was returned. Praise Jesus for honest people in this world ❤❤❤

Whimsical Sweat, HongKong Disneyland looks amazing 🥰 I can't wait for Amanda's Merch Video. I lost my moneybelt in Disneyland many years ago on our first visit. We were in the park for over 12 hours and we got back tired to the hotel. My husband asked me to unlock the hotel door since he was carrying shopping bags. I hauled up my t-shirt and was going to get out the room card, and I discovered the moneybelt was gone. My husband said later he wished he had a photo of the look on my face. Nothing at Disney's lost and found. I had to get a new passport and we had to push our trip back forward. Fortunately, insurance paid for extra days and a Town car with a driver to take us to Beverly Hills where the Swedish Consulate was. Walking there I bumped into Pierce Brosnan alone in a little alleyway. When I had finally got my emergency passport, I got a call from Disneyland that my moneybelt had been turned in. I had lost it in the Star Trader while trying something on. It was all there, passport, credit cards, cash and temple recommend. It sure was an adventure. On the plane back to New Zealand we also sat right behind Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison a very well-known New Zealand actor. He was so friendly to talk to 😀

we enjoyed Animation Studio in HK - off Main Street - yes we didn't understand a word of what they said but it was easy enough to follow the animator and produce an okay drawing. AND - it was nice and air conditioned! bliss.

Make me miss that place. I was there 5 years ago, right when they closed the old caste down to redo it to what it is today. Let me know how you like the Avengers coaster, it was being built when I was there. Yeah in Hong Kong, thats how it is, nothing opens until 10-11. So it was so hard to find breakfast. Should have met Iron man first then done the ride, it will make more sense. Oh WOW that castle is BEAUTIFUL!!! I need to go back and see it. It might be my favorite castle. Oh my gosh, what a scary feeling. Its bad losing a wallet anywhere but especially bad when you are out of the country. Happy you found it. Thank you, this video brought up so many memories for me. My buddy and I went there, we needed a trip after my mom passing, not right after but within 5 months so still fresh, so it holds some great memories for me. Thank you.I need to go back.

HK Disney land was my first international Holiday. This was 2018 they just closed access to the old castle, which was like the sleeping beauty castle in LA. Mystic Manor was incredible and i rode it twice while there. You will also love the Grizzly Gulch ride, which is more like Expidition Everest
