I stayed there about few months in 2007.. really beautiful hotel and the staff are very kind.. from that hotel, gaisano mall is 10mins walking distance and 20mins walk to downtown.. Bacolod people are mostly very friendly and helpful to other people.. I miss my friends there..

Run don't walk to the front desk, the more out of breath you are the better and in between gasping for air explain to them that someone has paved over the garden view you were supposed to get and now it's a parking lot :)))))

I like the Ecotel next to El Fisher. It's a part of the Fisher but economy . Very close to everything and you can use the Fisher"s rooftop pool and restaurant.( Wifi was great to.)

Hi Ned, I stayed at that hotel about 4 years ago for several days. You are right.... nice staff and easy walking to the bars and restro areas. But Surprise.... The Wifi sucked then as well. Sorry dude.
