Leaving Velana International Airport via speedboat transfer, on the first leg of our honeymoon getaway in the Maldives.
First stop is Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru for 5 nights, after a 25 minute speedboat ride from Velana.

The weather leaving Velana airport was dark and gloomy, but upon arriving at Vabbinfaru it seems like the clouds cleared away from the island just for us! Making the island even more amazing. The staff at Banyan Tree are all very friendly and welcoming too 🙏
