I cannot get a read on Kirk’s deadpan delivery. This was either an authentic, raw, and real Honey Dew Podcast - or an entire comedy sketch planned by Kirk. And I loved every minute of it.

“I just… I wish for death” made me laugh very hard
Kirk is one of my favourite podcast guests in the comedy world. He's such a bizarre character but not in an obnoxious way, he just has that wandering hillbilly charisma that keeps you thinking about every word out of his mouth. It could all be nonsense but that's what keeps it interesting.
@jackerikson3139

He is literally the epitome of obnoxious.
"Alot of jokes are seeds of truth that we water with our imagination to make it work"
I like him. This was his first impression on me and I read people well. Fox is so authentic, genuine, and forthright as he discloses personal info that will have repercussions. Respect.
So... he was barely acting in Reservation Dogs 😂 Fukn love this dude. Kirk's the kinda guy that you run into on an empty beach, right after finding a bag of mushrooms half-buried in the sand. You talk about life for six hours, before wondering if he planted them there for you to discover, only to realise neither were there at all and you've just been listening to this episode in your earbuds.
“If I had 4 minutes to live, you could take me in 2.”

Kirk Fox is so funny. He's funny just sitting in the chair. Huge fan. When he was trying to guess when his dad died. I was rolling.
Damn this guy is poetic I thought this was all a bit😮
I fucking died when i was watching the show Jury Duty and Kirk improvised a line about a guy "fixing up old bicycles from the 70's and giving them to the less fortunate". Kirk is naturally hilarious
Love him and love him in RESERVATION DOGS!!! I wish they kept this show airing!! 😫😫
At some points I am in awe with how naturally funny and then how triggered his honesty makes me and I can’t get a read on Kirk! Thought provoking for me personally. Great Ep, Ryan!
Mr. Fox opened for Segura at a show I went to. I’ll just say I stood up at the end! If you love to laugh I highly recommend seeing him live!
I just finished the episode and cannot tell if it was my favorite episode or the one I liked the least....Kirk is so very intriguing....

From trudging to pursuit; we all exist between the two speeds.
holy crap!!! I could've snapped my neck with how fast I looked up at the video when he said the words "amniotic banding." It's the first time I've heard it outside of my girl's condition. Talk about one in a million! For me, it's more like one in a billion, I think. If only it had a funnier tint to it I would've loved to do the honeydew pod with y'all. Here's an incredibly long comment for you guys to read on the toilet. I'm sure it will go into the KZread abyss and no one will discover it, but I hope someone reads it and it kind of resonates with them a little bit. Also, love talking about my family. I have 14 month old twin identical twin daughters. During pregnancy, one of my girls was trapped in a pseudo-sac for months. Basically what that means is, she had the folded over onto her, and it clung to her like Saran wrap. There was no fluid in there for her to take in and get nutrients from. Her umbilical was also going through the sac and into her sister's, and then out back into her own. It wasn't looking good for her early. To be honest, she wasn't supposed to make it. She's a badass, though, and we were relentlessly positive as I like to say, and she broke out out of it. Nice! She was breaking free and getting more fluid! She's starting to turn the corner! But then, slowly, that's when the amniotic banding started to occur. It started with a foot; then legs; then hips; stomach; then she wore it like a sash (very fashionable); and eventually it settled on her face, around her mouth, until birth. It caused a cleft cheek (the doctors call it "Joker Mouth" if it helps give a visual), cleft hard and soft palates, and major airway restrictions because her jaw was pushed down and back. She couldn't keep food down at first. Tubes everywhere. Couldn't even hold her without her throwing up and her heartrate firing up to 225 and oxygen levels dropping to below 60%. Despite all that, I feel incredibly fortunate for a lot of things. That she wasn't missing limbs, which I didn't even realize was a possibility until Kirk mentioned it, is just another thing to give thanks for. Part of the reason I feel so appreciative of my situation and what my family goes through is Ryan and this podcast. When you released the podcast you had Jessica Kirson on, I was going through this ordeal as my girls were about to be born. Jessica's story about her daughter, and everything she and her family endured, gave me such incredible perspective that I NEEDED before my daughter was born. It helped in so many ways, I can't even recount them all. Her comments about children's hospitals, what other people have to deal with, what other people tell you and try to connect with you about; it was so immensely necessary for preparing what my family would be going through. I remember driving home from the very hospital Jessica talked about multiple times after seeing my baby in the NICU, intubated with a tube that looks like it would choke ME, listening to her story, over and over, trying to remind myself that I am so, so, so fortunate. Now Kirk talking about amniotic banding, it's like, Ryan, can you be a bigger source of therapy for me, dude? Anyway, since birth, my girl has been through multiple surgeries, has a tracheotomy, has a feeding tube, and still much more to go. On a positive note, she might get to come home soon. This podcast has truly helped me cope and come to terms with some incredibly difficult things in my life, and helped me roll with the punches I'm getting clocked with. It's put into perspective all the things I have, and all that I should be grateful for; I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Thank you Sickdog!!! If anyone made it through all this & would like to read my girls' story, you can search for it online- 11 month old twins meet for first time.

Wehn I'm watching something and there's a cat noise or a bird call, my cat sits bolt upright, tries to figure out where it came from, and then comes and stares at the screen. The only other thing he does that with is Sickler's laugh.
