I am playing MSFS 2020 and just started on DCS. I need a Throttle quadrant that can be used for both sims. I have been researching and the I like the Bravo, but I already have the Logitech Multi-Panel which I use for the AP (so that part of the Bravo would not be needed). I also really like the Virpil T-50 CM3 (or maybe the Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle). Between the Bravo and the Virpil which do you believe would be the best choice for both MSFS 2020 & DCS? One other thing I have the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke (for) GA aircraft & the VKB Gladiator MK.II Stick (for) Military Aircraft. So all I need is the Throttle Quadrant and not the complete HOTAS System.

Any advice I provide is useless to you, I cannot afford such luxuries as the Thrustmaster Warthog Throttle (mores the pity) but there are many excellent reviews for all of therse devices and I honestly believe (having watched 90% or more of them) Virpil would be highest on my personal list. But I urge you to find YT reviews from people who are not PROMOTING a product, but rather REVIEWING them...If they cannot find Anything wrong or anything that could perhaps be better....then they aren't looking for it. Love to hear what you decide upon :-)

Thank you for your thorough review. I was on the fence about this or the Logitech controllers, now I know you can't go wrong with Honeycomb. Do you have a gamer chairs recommendation that adds realism to the experience?

Sorry for the delay (I have been unwell). I really hope you have had many happy moments in the Sim of your choice. I don't have a recommendation for a chair, but I may have found the perfect desk!

Very good reviewbut why backround noise/music?

Thank you David. Because I don't have a studio, I use the music to help cover the background noises in this space.

Alas the size due to the bracket is the reason I cant have it. Price not an issue - space and convenience of mounting/unmounting for each session is :(

Apologies, they work fine, they just don't feel premium...so far no issues & prob more a personal pref.

FS2020 did feel like an unfinished product on launch. I'll be waiting another year or so before upgrading. It did take up to 5 years to polish FSX as much as they did.

Can this be used with the Quad jets? Say the 747 and future A380

@@SimUKAviation The Boeing rig $500 though. Yikes! I may just end up going with the Honeycomb throttle. Already have the Honeycomb Alpha yoke. Using the Airbus throttle for now which does have two levers though it was a hassle to program properly in FSX. I rarely feel the need to use more than one throttle lever anyway. On a real plane they generally use all throttle levers at once like 80% of the time anyway.

Agreed, the Boeing Yoke is for hardcore Boeing fans...Not useless for anyone else, but certainly less versatile.

Why do you still have Throttle 2 on the device, if you only have a single engine? That is the whole purpose of making it so customizable, you should only setup one throttle.

No need tto remove it, same as I don't need to remove the PTU (as it doesn't have one it should not require it)

Honeycomb seems to disregard the Cessna style throttle configuration altogether. As mostly a Cessna pilot both real and sim, I'm disappointed in the Honeycomb brand.
