Bro when I was 20, about 16 years ago and I worked at waffle house for a couple months (got in a FIGHT with the manager and quit) there was a regular who knew me from my other job. One day, while he was eating, the phone rang and some woman asked if he was there. He told me with panic in his face to tell her he wasnt there. I told him I'm not going to say that, but he didn't understand quite how crazy I was. He put me on the spot, and I couldn't think of what else to say..So right in front of his face I told the lady (direct quote) " he says he isn't here"... This dude couldn't believe I said that and got so angry and got up and left and the 10-15 people in the waffle house were hysterical laughing. I felt like crud... He came back like 5 minutes later and said it was just his wife looking for him I guess he thought it was someone else... I definitely gave her way TMI but thats the way it goes lol 😂. Was not a believer yet, just a young man desperately trying to "be a good person"...
