Sometime i think Snyder would be better have made things like The Boys .. but he would have even "butcherd" that because The Boys has also a lot humor and Snyder would have sucked it all out of it and only made it grim, dark.. and boring.     Man, Anthony Starr is such a brilliant actor. A scene can go from neutral to tense and terrifying just with a subtle flex of his jaw and set of his mouth.

    I love all the characters in this show but Homelander and Butcher are just such great, fascinating characters that steal the show when they're on screen. Soldier Boy might be in that boat too, I just hope we get more of him.

    Only thing I didn’t like about season 3 is how they decided that Soldier Boy was a bigger problem than Homelander. A problem for sure, but a problem who could be reasoned with and had a legitimate weakness. Which is not the case with Homelander.

    granted he had an explosive case of ptsd, a revenge plot with little care of collateral, his only weakness was a rare russian nerve agent and they thought that he would be stronger than Homelander (which was def not the case..) also homelander was always the big bad, they looked for soldier boy thinking they found smth that could kill him and then tried to get him to kill homelander

    Man this show is so good and I’m glad it is man. Anthony Starr’s acting is just so phenomenal and this man needs so many awards for his acting in this show. He has made me legitimately terrified anytime he shows up on screen. This show is the first time I’ve seen a show be 20 times better than the actual comic book to me

    This! People always go 'a movie/show isn't good cause it strayed too far from the source material!'. Thank god the Boys strayed from the source material. The comics are pretty basic 'edgy dark superviolent' comics like many from that time period. The show turned out to be aczually really good 😅

    When I first heard of The Boys, I knew nothing of the comics, I was like ok, so another super heroe show... But boy, was I absolutely wrong. So refreshing and absolutely different in every way. And completely relatable to actual current events happening. Like a real life depiction of how it would be if real Supes existed. Gory, gritty and completely over the top. Absolutely loved it.
