I think it's clear the filmmakers wanted Christian Bale Batman. Man Of Steel was originally intended to be a Nolanverse spinoff.

From being a fan of the CW Flash, it kills me that we can't get a good movie out of this character! If this movie didn't have all of this derailing fan service all over it, it could've at least been a better movie about just him. I mean referencing movies from 40 years ago is one thing, but giving life to the Nic Cage Superman fighting a giant spider??? Talk about targeting the wrong audience! I got the reference and thought it was hilarious, but that must've been confusing to 99 percent of the audience.

Better safe than sorry. Is Danielle on a secret heal turn arch? Is superslam covered by the Union?

I'm kinda agree with Dan Murrell and Eric Goldman take... Miller and Keaton gave great performances, actually. Best scene in the movie was emotional farewell between Barry and his mother. 1st and 2nd acts were solid, in my opinion. Action and visuals (an idea of chronobowl, not the execution) was creative enough. It's a fun, okay to good, movie with obvious problems. CGI didn't work, except for Barry's face swap. And of course, if you don't want to or simply can't separate character from actor, understandably, that would taint your experience significantly.

Agreed. Is it the most earth shatteringly amazing superhero movie? No. But Ezra gave a pretty nuanced and emotional performance. I wasn't sure they could carry a whole movie but was pleasantly surprised. Plus I didn't care if I was being fan-serviced, seeing Keaton again made me happy. And who gives a sh*t if it made sense, Clooney at the end made me laugh out loud. I saw it in theatres and had a grand old time.

Maybe the reason Tom Cruise said he loved this movie was because of the motorcycle Batman rides and ALL that running!

It was rough. When it's bad it's very noticeable. To be fair, I think significant amont of time and work was spend on selling face-swap effect. And they succeeded there. It wasn't noticeable. In generally, it felt like they were played by two different actors.

The majority of the movie is fine, but the cgi babies, and the chronobowl/cgi cameos were bad. The Flash, Batman and Supergirl were great.

The first 2 acts were great

When Lon said "this isn't fun" it was so sad 😭

I could not be here this week, but, for me, please do Ski School 1 and 2.

Watching people complain that it's not the '89 Batman. It's NOT. It's a different spaghetti strand. Similar but different. There are unlimited universes.

You can briefly see a person outside of Spencer’s window at 26:56 and 27:17, likely doing yard work.

Have to adnit, I enjoyed The Flash. Of alk the Superhero flicks, this one felt like a true comic book nore thsnbanythubg in the oast few years. I like Guardians 3 more, but this felt like pure comic book fun.

I cant believe The Flash has some of the most iconic rogues and we went with Black Goo venom flash... smh

The 1 cameo that should have been in this movie, wasnt. I didnt watch 9 seasons of The Flash for Grant Gustin not to be in that damn movie

I know the Flash has to be kind of a weird character, because if he was confident hes basically a god, but Erza Miller is an exhausting actor to watch. Even if he wasnt Erza Miller, this would have been a rough ride.

i quite enjoyed this movie but for the industry and society it’s probably a good thing that it flopped

I actually liked the movie. The VFX have some major issues with polish, the but ideas are interesting. The movie has a decent emotional through-line and there's enough wacky insanity that it was an entertaining ride. The ridiculous baby-saving sequence at the beginning was genuinely hilarious. I'd give it a 7/10

Opposite of Spence here: i didn't like the 1st 30 mins, but once the two Barry's got together? I loved it

Idk why all the hate on Secret Invasion. Yea they missed the mark at some points but I enjoyed it.

What went wrong with this movie? Snyderverse! All of Zack Snyder's movies lost money. Yes, Wonder Woman and Aquaman made money, but all of the DC films made by Snyder lost money. Everyone talks about splitting the fanbase, but splitting to me would suggest 50/50, I think i twas more like 30% liked / 70% hated, then some people that don't like DC made up the 20% that made it kind of look like 50/50. I don't think that was the only problem. Ezra Miller I'm sure some people that liked the Snyderverse didn't want to see a film staring a drunk, thief that allegedly groomed kids and kidnapped people. Well, just turn off your mind and watch the pretty... err, passable, umm, funnily bad special effects? Nevermind.

Scheduling issues.

I really liked this movie. I was funny and entertaining. I also like that the whole focus was in 1 emotional moment and it actually hit me. For example, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 felts manipulative in the emotional regard and not fun or interesting. So I dont know, maybe this movie is just a different more focused taste.

Hasn't Stephen Amell always been problematic though? Didn't he basically go 'All Lives Matter' back in 2020? And back in 2015, didn't he basically support racially profiling a 14yr old Muslim kid who had the police called on him for making a clock for his science homework?

Mediocre Invasion

Hollywood put up with Robert Downey Jr. because he was super talented. I don't know why they're putting up with Ezra Miller, who is a c-list actor, at best.

😢Grooming allegations. When Justice League was filming. The cast voice their opinion against Dakota Access Pipeline. Ezra got REAL close to underage native teen female. She denied hope it's true. 😢
