@@meb212 it’s been only after pro series stuff as far as I’m aware. Actual manufactures never used sealed breeches before DZ pro, so barrel length does nothing but reduce performance for any on shelf blaster except pro stuff

@@willw5868 thought so. I literally saw the Nexus pro in a tiktok video and decided I had to have it, just on a whim. Modded it, and now I just love learning all about this hobby

I hope they eventually make a hammer prime pro blaster. Would probably be impossible to make it shoot as hard as the others, but it would still be awesome

The company that made the Ceda and Game Face Prime leaked a bunch of blasters a few years ago and one of them was a hammer prime blaster. Most likely will hit Rival or AF Pro fps. No idea what happened to those blasters though.

@@hushu1414 not really that controversial since Rival and regular DZ blasters like the Spectrum are still very popular despite being 90 to 100 fps, and HvZ events are limited to around 120 fps or less. (Pro blasters are usually like 130+)

A big drawback is the barrel not holding the darts in. Like during your chrono tests. But everything else is amazing to see in an off the shelf blaster.

After you added the barrel attachment and drew it from the holster, a dart fell out the cylinder before you started chronoing.

I've always liked the idea of a closed-breech revolver, because I always have trouble with seals, and think that this does a brilliant job at it! Thanks for making this great review! 💛 P.S. When you drew the first cylinder out of your belt, a dart fell out, that's what was going on 😂

Unreliable

So stock games performance without the attachment, hvz levels with, probably great for 150FPS games as well. Including a holster is an innovation as well. Dart Zone understands how this game is played, they know this is a sidearm and needs a dedicated holster. Way to go!

I'd love if they could furnish a flywheel sidearm with a compact form factor with comparable performance to their springers. I saw Dart Zone/Adventure Force DOES have a flywheel-based primary, I'd just love my first brand new flywheeler to be a Pro series sidearm since I'm running out of storage space for my blasters, ammo, and accessories. Bonus points if it's half-dart exclusive, major bonus if it feeds through the grip or even in a similar factor to the Conquest Pro.

Other way around. There is more performance with the barrel so you want to use the barrel in hvh games. With hvz you want to NOT us the barrel as to not hurt anyone.

Between this review and mass release, surely there’s enough time to get a good amount of tweaks done to sort out the current issues, even if they have to basically do a version two of it.

Yeah, tightening up the cylinders to hold darts better SHOULD be a minimal design change (Especially given that priming pushes the dart into a breach/chamber), maybe even as simple as adding a little bit more plastic on the inside of the cylinders' individual chambers. I feel like this one's gonna be a good one if they can solve the loose cylinders at the very least.

There is not enough time to MK Air those kind of changes in an Inj Mould tool and still make the street date. This will launch with these issues. Just like every other Dart Zone pro series launch.

I wish I could get one of these, I’m a young nerfer who lives in the uk so it’s virtually impossible for me to get my hands on one of these. I absolutely love revolvers so it’s awesome that adventure force has a pro one. Love it!!!

The darts feel out when you put the second cylinder in. Might want to make a new cylinder thats a bit tighter then the stock so darts dont fall out.

I'd probably just use Worker HEs with this then given they're wider than AF Pros, and don't squish as much

@@thehollowlingwin in my experience they don't work either, it's a barrel consistency thing; Workers aren't thick enough to make a difference of fit with how loose the barrels can be. Plus it's super dependent on temperature.

I think one of the best pistols I have seen on this channel to date ... just needs a hammer prime for total perfection ...

Looks great, especially with the barrel attachment. It also seems very handy since you effectively have two different fps ranges, one which is pretty close to stock, and then your superstock range! I am a bit worried about the whole "darts falling out" thing, and I'm not a huge fan of the safety, like Drac mentioned.

I can easily see a safety delete and maybe even a 3D printed "stopper" for that gap to prevent even loose darts from coming out that side.

3d printed cylinders with brass or PETG inserts would fix that completely though. By the time this thing hits shelves or shortly after I'm sure someone will have files available.

Though some mods have tried to use turrets with seals going into a barrel, these systems have always been finicky. Some people might complain about this being effectively 5+1 due to the pusher, but this solution avoids a lot of the headaches. There's a good difference in absolute reliability between getting a proper seal between the cylinder and the plunger tube plus the cylinder and the barrel versus just the pusher to the barrel.

Between 'Hyper,' 'Ultra,' and 'Elite 2.0' I don't think I'm looking forward to anything from Nerf right now. Give me Dartzone/AdventureForcePro, or Worker these days.

@@AndrewHayes616 X-shot, Buzz Bee and Dart Zone are all making blasters for Walmart under the Adventure Force brand. It's important to make a point that Dart Zone made this one. Big quality difference between Buzz bee blasters and Dart Zone.

Looks like a dart fell out during reload when taking that cylinder off your belt.

This is really cool to see a holster and cylinder holders (ie, items usually reserved for just the “red” pro blasters) including along with such a cool blaster even with the barrel

I am super excited for this blaster. While I haven’t had a use for any of the other DZP blasters, this one would fit into my loadout well.

I feel like the first drac hosted event I go to I’m gonna be walking around and randomly see him and some other guy in an alley and looking like they’re doing a drug deal, and then the other guy is just gonna pull out an adventure force blaster that hasn’t been released yet, and that’s how he gets all of these blasters early

I've absolutely loved the hammershots ever since they came out, but it looks like I finally found their replacement. I am a big fan of the drop leg holsters but I'll have to whip up a lefty version. Can't wait to get my hands on that beauty.

I had a friend from Ohio tell me that his Dart Zone MK2 broke with only just a few usages. I think I will rather prefer the Deuce Pro over the MK2. The Deuce will be my main sidearm for endwar if it comes out in time.

@@_r3verie sorry just saw this. It's definitely a tougher prime then elite blasters. I actually added tape to mine. Was wearing on my hand after continuously shooting.

Reminds me of the Maverick. On the holster,you need to make a long and short holster with an end cap,the reason why is with the end cap will keep the barrels clean and dry

I’ve started finding them at the Walmart near me already, picked on up and it’s definitely really cool.

Never expected DZ to release a pro revolver! I will get this as soon as it comes to SG stores

I cannot wait to see it on the shelves, this is the perfect #6 blaster for my boondock saints tactical gear.

I kind of like the idea of that one open slot. While a bullet could fall out, it could make for some sweet tactical reloads if your speedloaders are dry.

A firearm that does this is the single action army revolver, which was used as the standard issue sidearm for the United States Army during the post civil war era. It was carried alongside the Spenser repeater a favorite of president Abraham Lincoln.

Christmas of 2021 was the year I got my new gaming computer and not much else, so I think I'm excited for Christmas of 2022 to be the year I splurge a bit and grab a Conquest Pro and Deuce Pro to plink around with (And maybe hand down some of my older Hasbro kit to my cousin's kids, they like flinging foam with me on occasion as well).

I’m glad they finally made a good affordable sidearm. Wanted the mk2 pretty bad but couldn’t justify the cost.

barrel-on chrony, you lost 2 darts to the ground upon pulling the spare cylinder, not a priming issue. They visibly came out, due to the loose cylinder/dart fit.

The price point is great, I’m just not completely sure I need one over my MKII. If it could be primed one handed, I’d be all over 2 of these though.

What do you think of the mk2.1? Would you upgrade to that over your Mk 2?

I hope they tighten up the revolving mechanism a bit before the real release, that was quite a few malfunctions in a very short period. If it does end up being a bit better upon release, I'm absolutely buying one because goddamn is this thing sick.

Damn. This thing is pretty excellent. I love the rekt Jury and so I may have time get this thing. It's got slightly less range and seems slightly reliable, but it's definitely awesome.

Looking forward to having a loadout with this and one of the new Tommy 20s.

damn, with the barrel she's pretty spicy. I can see a snubby barrel mod to give a little pop without climbing past Endwar ranges, maybe a built-in scar attachment

Aw! If it was hammer prime it would be perfect, but I love what you get for the price you get it! Kinda wish the cylinder loaded Ambi too

Hopefully we can see a spring upgrade/spring spacer for those who don't want to use the barrel and keep the smaller form factor!

A heavier spring may not add any FPS while destabilizing the shots because you won't get enough impulse out of it. All the extra force will just blow the air out the sides behind the dart.

I think I like this more than the Dart Zone Mk 2. I definitely want this for my collection.

40 USD is a bit too much for my taste and for that... mediocre FPS/cost ratio. Not to mention the price will go way up here in Europe... I'll stick to my current sidearms. That attachable compression barrel is bonkers though, I hope Dart Zone keeps using it in the future.

There really is no alternative to this setup though. Try getting a Strongarm to this kinda performance.

Thanks for the review. This seemed pretty cool initially but overall, seems really cumbersome and unintuitive to use. The extra priming necessary to shoot plus the slop that can rotate the barrell in half increments would really slow the whole play down, combined with the fiddly reload, too many dealer breakers to be worth the $40 imo. I can't understand why the priming handle can't just slide forward on its own once the dart canisters are loaded.

I think you had the barrel seated improperly in the holster when demonstrating the secondary holster attachment. Still very cool to see. I'm actually at an impasse! Mk2, Mk2.1, or the Deuce pro. What should I get???

god id love something like this but with full lengths. I know they're like, less efficient but they're a lot easier to get ahold of and all the other stuffs i have uses em.

I originally wanted to get the DZP Mark 2 and this but I'm starting to think it makes more sense to get this twice. I've heard stories of the Mark II breaking & part of me is concerned, also I think this might be advanced than the Mark II internally. If I'm wrong please correct me. Also, I would love to see this Destiny-ed up. Maybe as The Last Word

I wonder how difficult, and effective it would be to make a breached 'snub nose' barrel - Might be a good way to bump performance and consistency, while not exceeding FPS limits?

As cool as that is, I kind of wish it had a T-Grip for the priming action. I hope a mod comes out that can replace the primer with a T-style grip, they're less of a stress to constantly use.

Guess it would might help to put some tape in the cylinder, but not sure if the pusher would push the tape off.

It’s a shame we don’t seem to get the dart blasters here in Scotland, the Adventure Force brand is available here, but it’s mostly just kids toys and non firing light and sound guns

I wonder if the Target Max darts would have the looseness issue in the cylinder. They tend to have a little thicker foam that the AF Pros.

The Adventure force waffles would probably work too. Theyre a bit thicker than most darts and are very accurate, you'd just have to cut them down yourself.

idk if anyone noticed but rite at about 13:25 wen he grabs the rounds from his side a dart flips out to the ground he doesn't notices unless he does at the end didn't watch till last seconds but thats maybe why it seemed to have miss fired.
