Honest Review of the World's Most Expensive Luxury Tents - Capella Ubud in Bali Indonesia

Credited as one of the top 10 hotels in the world, CAPELLA UBUD, BALI is probably one of the most expensive tent experiences imaginably. Hike along as we give you our HONEST review....You may be surprised.
Nestled in the heart of lush green forests, our unique tented camp sits in harmony with the surrounding nature. Inspired by the early European settlers from the 1800s, architect Bill Bensley designed Capella Ubud, Bali as a tribute to their spirit of adventure.
Constructed in between all of the trees and hidden from afar, it captures the imagination of those who aspire a truly unique experience that allows them to enjoy the essence of Bali’s untouched natural surroundings in personalize and stylish comfort. Capella Ubud, Bali offers a handful of tents; all with private pools.
The camp is set amongst the rainforests of Keliki, Ubud, where you will be blessed with the sights and sounds of nature, and cross paths with various local wildlife. As a guest of Capella Ubud, Bali, your experience includes sleeping inside canvas walls which allow you to hear the sounds of nature from dusk till dawn.
The Camp is located in a dense rainforest on sloping terrain leading to the sacred Wos River in Keliki Village. Whilst accommodation on flat terrain is available, some of the tents are perched up high and are located on steep terrain.

You guys missed the full potential of this amazing place which to me and my partner has beat our #1 trip doing an expedition in the Galapagos islands. Starting with the tent, you should’ve got the Keliki Valley tent with amazing views of the jungle from the bed, terrace shower and private pool, as well as great location a few steps to all the camp amenities, we slept beautifully, by the way we had zero issues with noise or mosquitos. Food was extraordinary, they even prepared Balinese dishes and teas that were not in the menu. Service top notch. And the best part, the unique and surreal experiences they have, like Tirtha Blessing, Sunrise Hike at Mount Batur with breakfast, Scenic Drive, Bambu Forest with a local family, and more. This was simply the best trip of our lives.

My husband and I are intrigued. Our travel agent suggested this. We are nearly 70 but are both triathletes and in excellent shape. We are thinking of 3 nights. How far are the tents from the airport? Are there enough attractions close by for three days of exploring or a way to get to other destinations/activities that we shouldn’t miss? This video is really excellent and thought provoking. We will be staying at a hotel on the beach for 7 nights before moving. I think we’re just wanting something totally different and memorable . If you can answer any of these questions we’d be grateful.
