I have recently stopped wearing my Casio Keyboard (Module N°. 2888.) The resin case was peeling it was very 'tatty', and looking very sorry for itself. Due to disability, I cannot use the calculator function, so at Christmas, my wife who also needed a new watch and I treated ourselves to identical Casio Module N° 3454 watches. Although the display is not as comprehensive as was the 2888, they work well & we are happy with them. The 2888 meanwhile is serving as my 'bedside timepiece' !

Also have a gun metal model, ca-500wegg-1bdf, I think is better than the other colors.

I think the DT stands for Dual Time. I prefer the black one, or my vintage 1985 CA 50.

yes DT is Dual or world time. Very useful. There is also a stop watch after this function. I also have the original 1980's version in black. Love it.

Love old Casios and just subscribed. Not sure if it is my computer or not but audio on this video is pretty low. Anyway, look forward to watching more of your videos!

I have both. The metallic and the black one. Actually, I have 3. I have also the dark blue version with negative display (which I don't like it that much because of the terrible visibility). Thinking of buying another black one to swap the module of the blue one.

Out of experience, I know there is no difference between the shiny and plain watches, all are made of resin (plastic), but the chrome or gold ones with a very thin layer of chrome on it that starts to peel off after a long time wearing it. Thanks for the video!

Yes, Thats correct, they are all plastic, the only metal cases where some from the 80s, but they suffered corrosion, and many screen bled, many metal frames casios effected the screen. like DBX-100. Have you subscribed?

DT should be the Dual Time mode. If you cycle further there should be the stop watch and than the normal time where you can read which day it is instead of "DT". At least that´s how it is on my black plastic version. Maybe you can test and tell if that´s true. The chrome version looks great. They really should have put a backlight in it. That would be a perfect watch then. ps Also it´s the "breaking bad" watch.

The dual time feature also appears on other new casio watches releasing during the 2020 decade. For example, the quite new AQ models show this feature like the AQ800 and AQ230.
