This album is INSANE

5:42 that "hmmmmm. oh so it's like THAT. alright!" was such a mood😂I was NOT prepared for this! the drop from the sweet and beautiful pre-chorus to that devilish chorus gave me a whiplash, hit me like a truck😂

I'm telling ya I've been listening to this song much more than I expected, and it's getting more addictive every time. Lol.

the entire album is KILLER and this song only gets better with each listen btw ☝

This was the most visually stunning music video. It was filmed in Bali. At first I wasn’t sure about it but now it’s addicting. Whoever wrote and produced this song injected something really seductive.

Agreed. At first, I was like “hmm interesting, it’s ok”. Like some parts really got my attention, but after a few more listens I actually REALLY like the song

i'm so happy you liked this one because the chorus "sugar rush ush sugar rush ush sugar rush ush uh" is either a hit or miss for people but that's literally one of the parts that gets stuck in your head along with "gimme gimme more" and i haven't gotten sick listening to it yet because i love the instrumentals and ofc their vocals. please react to the album!!! every song is a hit and charting on domestic and international charts. like this is literally txt's biggest comeback yet i'm so proud of all their achievements they've received the past 5 days.

And some folks really hate the anti-drop, too, or don't want TXT to go with the sexy vibe. They said people would either love it or hate it and I think it really is pretty polarizing. I like being surprised so I like it a lot 😁

totally agree. not the biggest fan of the sugar rush rush part but everything else, ESPECIALLY the prechorus make me melttttt

They said that they didnt like the second part of the chorus like the sugar rush uh part i felt the same at first but it really grew on me i did not expect that the song would be that catchy but the come little closer part and the verses was just too good.

omg yes! I was literally looking at TXT's US tour details when you posted this! this song is SUCH A BOP. I've been listening to the song and the whole album ON REPEAT ever since it got released. it's so good! can't imagine what that "why Sugar Rush Ride is terrible" video was about though🤣I'm hoping it was a clickbait, and the person was actually explaining why it was a bop😂

I honestly don’t know why ppl don’t like the song just because of the “empty chorus”… that chorus is just iconic in my opinion, that drastic change makes the song very addictive. Also the whole video and choreography are awesome, I loved it.

that video you were talking about that channel always makes such videos about the best songs possible. I think they are a troll or something no one takes them seriously. Usually fans say if your faves song makes it to that channel that means the song is good 😂

Sugar Rush Ride is quickly becoming my favourite TXT title track. I must have listened to this a hundred times by now, streaming everyday, but I never get tired of it. The song is addicting and others have said it must be laced with crack, lol. The high vocals and falsettos, the deep sexy voices, the beautiful natural scenery, the gorgeous visuals, and the pacing of the song from slow upbeat and then getting fast and energetic is all great. I've only seen a few people say they don't like the chorus "sugar rush rush, sugar rush rush" and that opinion is mainly coming from videos like the one you must've saw. There's only a couple videos like that I saw and they're very unpopular opinions. Or maybe the chorus is a hit or miss with some people. Overall, Sugar Rush Ride is a really good song. I do recommend listening to the rest of the album.

The story of how the first song from the album to the last is very interesting. Thats why its called The Name Chapter: Temptation (story of growing up, and tempted to stay young but eventually realised that they're growing up) 1. Devil By The Window 2. Sugar Rush Ride 3. I think instrumental of the song is really impressive for me.. you can hear the funky guitar sound blending with catchy drum then beautiful Korean instrument in prechorus with their beautiful falsetto...and suddenly the beat drop in chorus, so good.. 🔥

the anti drop and leaving the most upbeat part till the end while passively building it up was the best choice in my opinion since it rlly does feel like that sugar rush + makes it addictive

I love watching people's reactions to the anti-drop and I love that they SHOWED us the frisson moment. So cheeky. "Yeah your hairs are raising, we know, we did that." 😂 TXT loves to surprise us and MOA finds it delightful. I love Devil at the Window too but I think my favorite on the album is Farewell to Neverland.

Thank you, Aaron. Your analysis was as usual on top form. If I want an unbiased reliable reaction. I definitely wait for your reaction. I had a mixture of excitement and reservations regarding the song. I love the band TXT and this is the right progression for them. I can see them going from strength to strength. Like most 4th Gen boy bands there is very little to dislike - they are literally "sugar" in personality; kindness; visuals, and dance moves. I was however having difficulty with the song - trying to get the hook - that makes a song great - that people will sing over and over again. The "S's" were difficult - but like you said it may grow on me like Antifragile did.
