In the last chorus you could hear monkey sounds. That was Yangyang's voice actually. The producer asked him if he could mimic any animal sounds and he did the monkey sounds that it actually made it in the song. Taeyong, Jeno and Giselle wrote their parts.

Taeyong , jeno and Giselle wrote their own verses

TAEYONG choreographed this in about 2 days, then taught it to Bada Lee (his choreographer friend), who then helped him with the formations. He talked about it in more detail in his WKorea interview. Funfact - there wasn't supposed to be a stage for Zoo but TAEYONG liked the song a lot and thought it'd be wasteful for it to remain as a b-side so he was the one that pushed for it. He managed to plan and create a choreo despite his already packed schedule. That's on being an Ace! His choreo went viral after he posted the dance guide on his Instagram, where he is dancing with Bada and other choreographers are helping them out since it's a 5-people choreo. Btw, this is not the first time he has choreographed. His major other work was for Bring The Noize but he has also choreographed Whiplash and his solo dance stages during award shows.

Educate yourself first before you say something unreal like all the others when it's about the perfect made image of an idol.

The chemistry between the boys and Giselle's voice and rapping is so good. Idk if I explained it right but, that's how I feel about this song. People are bashing Gigi because she's stiff in dancing, but she's not branded as a dancer, and somehow she tried dancing. She's actually a rapper and sub vocalist in Aespa. Just like other groups in KPOP, not every singers can perfectly dance just like their "main dancers", same goes with all the the artists that are branded as dancers, they are not that excellent in singing just like how the "main vocalist" does.

She's actually fluid compared to other girls it's just that she lacks stamina and putting strength and emphasis on some moves makes her look she's under dancing

KWANGYA is the actual word used in their lyric since this means "wilderness" in Korean. The "G" in korean sounds like "K" when pronounced :)

"Kwangya" indeed translates to "Wilderness" "Kwangki" means something wild or crazy. And the 'gieot'(g/k sound) in 광야 can be written with both g and k.

I'm so proud of Gigi.No matter even if people think that she is not upto the mark,she is privileged to be in aespa just coz of her status.For a 11 month trainee she is doing great n I can see she has improved alot.

g and k in korean are almost the same. As for the meaning of Kwangya, yeah it is actually a korean word which means WIlderness. The same word used in SM Universe. That's why if you see Kwangya (on Ep. 1 Black mamba) it looks like wilderness because it is.

Wow Finally!

Kwangya/gwangya are the same, just different romanization of 광야. The letter ㄱ is a combination of G and K sounds, the letter ㅋ is strictly the K sound. Since 광야 uses ㄱ it can be spelled either way in english. Theres some other korean letters that represent 2 roman letters like ㅂ,ㄹ,ㅈ, etc.

This song for me was instant love really was perfect and see sm artist or a sm rap artists collab together was really exciting 🖤
