This song was remade by "aespa" by SM ENTERTAINMENT's first girl group "S.E.S.," which was active in the 1990s. BoA, a Legendary singer of SM, participated in the production, and BADA of S.E.S., participated in the lyrics. They are so cool 💙🌙⭐🦋

This is how Original K-Pop music actually. If you're already listening to EXO, Red Velvet, SNSD, Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee you will always find the mixing melody, like 4 songs balanced to 1 song. This is how SM music sounds like. And that's what I love about SM. Without BoA and S.E.S there's no girl group in K-Pop industry.

It's kind of funny that on the rapping part, Korean people thought it was English and international fans think they are rapping in Korean, but it is actually an alien language. SM created that alien language when they released this song back in the '90s, that is why there were Korean subtitles when they were rapping. S.E.S said it on the interview back in 90. :)

It's part of SM's remastering project. Dreams come true is from their first gg, SES. In original mv, they were fairies too (just like aespa, theyre with wings) and there are lots of UFO, space thingy, and the rap part with the alien (robot in aespa's). They retained the original rap part which is just pure gibberish (alien language) thats why there's korean subtitle on that part. The first rap part is not in the original song, as well as winter & ningning's parts after the 1st chorus (as far as i know) or they just rearranged it, im not sure

The dreams come true is originally from a Finnish girl group named Nylon Beat and composed by Risto Asikainen, with further composition of the Korean version handled by Yoo Young-jin while the lyrics were translated by Yoo along with group member Bada. SM Entertainment licensed the song from the original composers and reproduced it by adding Korean vocals, sound fills, and newly arranged parts in the last third of the song. I know wikipedia is not a reliable source but I will share it here by the way. Hahahaha Aespa (Karina, Giselle, Winter, Ningning) - vocals, background vocals Bada - lyrics Yoo Young-jjin - lyrics, composition, directing, background vocals, recording, digital editing, mixing BoA - lyrics, composition, arrangement, directing Risto Armas Asikainen - composition Shaun Kim - arrangement BXN - arrangement Cheon Hoon - mastering Shin Soo-min - mastering assistant

The origin of this song dates back to 1996 is from a Finnish group called Nylon Beat. The original song is called "rakastuin mä luuseriin", then the song writer sold the rights to SM who improved the song with the version of S.E.S. in 1998 and now Aespa takes the song to a new level 😎👌🏼 Curious fact: S.E.S was the Kpop girl group with the most music shows won by a debut song with "I'm Your Girl" and after 22 years, ITZY broke that record with her debut "Dalla Dalla" without a doubt S.E.S. It is a legendary group of the first generation of kpop

I don't know if you know this, but aespa's "Dreams Come True" is the remake of a classic hit from SM's very first Kpop girl group S.E.S. from the '90s. This whole Station project was produced by BoA. Everything from the rewriting and restyling of the song, to the choice of choreography and MV concept was orchestrated by BoA, and she specifically did it all with aespa in mind because she thinks aespa is becoming the S.E.S. for the new generation. You should check out S.E.S.'s original version MV in order to really understand aespa's song and MV concept. Plus, if you want to see how this whole project came about and the behind the sense of them making everything, you should check out the first episode of SM's "Re:MASTERPIECE" project. Which is a sort of documentary look at everything that went into remastering this classic hit. (It's the video that is recommend at the end of this MV.) It was really interesting to see BoA use her years of experience and expertise to mentor aespa and to put everything she has learned in her 21 years in the industry into creating this project.

The version of S.E.S is considered as remake too because SM bought the song from nylon beat. Just like Next Level.

There is also one Red velvet (Irene, seulgi, joy)-Twice (Tzuyu, Momo, Chaeyoung) collaboration live version which is awesome as well.

The first part is their own thing, and then the slower part is the original song by S.E.S., which was a really long time ago. That’s why it transitions after Giselle says “Let’s being it back to 90’s”.

This song is actually originally from Finland, by the 90s Finnish girl group called Nylon beat! SM bought the rights to the song and made the first Korean remake with S.E.S and now Aespa made a remake of the S.E.S version 😎

you should listen to the original by S.E.S and do a comparison!!! :) Nice reaction btw, I always look forward to your reactions. The robot rap part is in the original. The beginning is like Aespa's intro to the song in their style and then the rest is their take on the original

I love how it has the 90s nuna neomo yepo vibes with aespa filters, only if boa take care of nct and aespa songs and production they won't looks like a experimental at all
