They perfectly managed to capture the key essence of Bollywood music. Perhaps to people not familiar with Bollywood or Indian music in general, this music might sound something completely new and different (and it is in K-pop). But these instruments and sounds are quite common in Indian music and the first time I heard this my brain was spiralling in confusion. It was only after I read the description I realised it's supposed to sound Bollywood. I like how they properly represented it and the MV or lyrics don't have and stereotypes like most other K-pop songs portraying Indian culture. I can't even express the admiration and respect I for LOONA.

I got immediately addicted to this song because I'm indian and it was even trending in our country and that's very difficult even for well established kpop groups and loona were able to do that!

Loona got me with their theories, the moon's phases, butterfly efect, timelines etc.

oh believe me loonaverse is VERY complex!!! there are so many details and it’s all connected going way back to their solo debuts and subunits ahaha it’s a little hard and difficult to understand because there’s so much going on

It’s seriously impressive, I’m not saying that as a fan but genuinely, it’s my favourite thing in Kpop and I’ve been listening since 2013 lol

PTT belongs to Bollywood music genre, a new music style for their discography. I would say you would like Choerry's solo song, due to her song has some similar sounds from this genre, but the beat tends to change a lot. And the Loonaverse is complex, full of theories, even the teasers are important!

This is honestly my favorite song from loona....and probably my favorite song at the moment lol

loona’s story line is interconnected with space i mean they have songs called, star, universe, eclipse and even in the lyrics of these songs you’d find a lot of space metaphors that connect the loona story

I really appreciate the level of detail you go into in your reactions, it was great to see you point out little touches in the MV that I hadn't yet noticed. I'd love to see you do more LOONA reactions in the future, they have a lot of variety in their music so I think it would be a very interesting journey!

EXO'S B-side track "Love, Love, Love" from their 2014 overdose mini album has magical hindu mantra theme and sitar.

I honestly didn't care about how the comeback sounded or looked, all I cared about was the fact that Haseul is now happy, healthy and finally coming back (my ult bias, a gorgeous queen), but the fact the song is so amazing is really nice lol

Omg, this song has now turned Aaron into MAYBE a potential baby Orbit 😂

Fun fact: The fire around Olivia Hye (drum girl) and behind Haseul (on the wings) is real!

calling yves “wives” is so hilariously accurate and on-brand for her.

Heejin and Hyunjin were in mixnine! theyre really close to ryujin because of it. Also you mentioned heejin as your bias, shes the center, lead dancer and lead vocal (unofficially, because loona doesnt have official positions)

btw loona have a story line concept and they debuted first with solos. everyone got their solo and also sub units and then they came back all together. the solos came once a month for all the 12 members that's why their korean name is "girl of the month"

Here's the Hangul for all the members, if it helps with the pronounciation: Heejin - 희진 Hyunjin - 현진 Haseul - 하슬 Yeojin - 여진 Vivi - 비비 (but in English you still pronounce it like "Vivi" and not "Bibi") Kim Lip - 김립 Jinsoul - 진솔 Choerry - 최리 (but you can pronounce it like "cherry") Yves - 이브 (English pronounciation is "Eve", however) Chuu - 츄 Go Won - 고원 Olivia Hye - 올리비아 혜 Really glad you liked it! If you're interested, I highly recommend their predebut music, which was all solo and sub unit songs. My personal favourites are Egoist by Olivia Hye, new by Yves, Eclipse by Kim Lip and Sweet Crazy Love by Loona Odd Eye Circle. But in my opinion, the best way to experience it all is in order of release, starting with Vivid by Heejin. That really shows you the way their sound evolved over time. And yes, there is a storyline. It's very complex, involving a looping timeline on a möbius strip, three planes of existance, string theory, superpowers, the Garden of Eden, God (yes, the christian one) and the destruction and reconstruction of the moon. I don't fully understand it myself, I'm just along for the ride :D

The Korean "choi" (which is choerry's name) is pronounced "chwe" but choerry is just pronounced cherry, or chwerry if we want to be more accurate

You’re really missing out on one of the greatest discographies in kpop. The videos you watched are not indicative of Loona’s sound. In fact, the last few title tracks sound NOTHING like the rest of their music. They usually bring a new sound every comeback. Each member has a solo song, and they’re all a different genre. They had 3 subunits predebut with 3 different styles and sounds. They have some of the best production you can find in kpop. I think you should give them a fair shake. Then the songs you’ve heard that you didn’t really like will make more sense because it was simply them adding another sound to their universe.

They are also a VERY strong vocal group as well that hasn’t been represented in their recent girl crush concepts. You’ll see more in their earlier solo work and b-sides. Each one was groomed to stand on their own as potential solo artists away from the group. Also, one of the best dancing groups around right now. And their MVs are really beautiful and big budget

I might be wrong but I think the fact that they introduced this new sound is the reason why I started enjoying their songs. Because I remember reacting to their older mvs and those tracks sounded way too light and cute for my liking so they weren't my cup of tea. But yeah I'll check out more of their music in the future 100%

@@aaron.freeman Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Hi High is the only song from Loona you've reacted to that was light and cute. The others just weren't your preference, like Butterfly and So What. I think you may have a misconception that their earlier music including their predebut projects are light and cute, when they in fact are not. That is not to say that they don't have any other songs with cute concepts of course because they do have a few like any other group, but they have so many genres and concepts in their discography so they have much more to offer as well. At the end of the day it's up to you whether you decide to dive deeper into them and their music and we'll respect your decision. But I think there are some songs you would really enjoy and without exaggeration, I've never seen another gg pull off so many diverse sounds and concepts and excel at all of them. I think it would be really worth your time and you could really come to love Loona! Anyway that's all, sorry for the long comment lol

The logo you liked - it's not just pretty. It is meaningful in Korean and English. They start off as ㅇㄷ ㅇ/ ㅅㄴ which, read horisontally, are initials of 이달의 소녀 ("Girl of the Month", or "Girl of This Moon"), the Korean name of the group. Then they move, and you can read their English name: LOONA/!

The neon lighting present in the mv such as red, purple, blue and green are their representative colors. The ones with red, blue and purple represent the members of oec sub unit, the sub-unit with odd eyes in those colors (you can watch their solos and sub-unit mvs to understand). This particular sub-unit is the 2nd realm in the loonaverse, or the middle earth. The member with the green light and wings, Haseul, belongs to loona 1/3, the first realm of the loonaverse, the earth per se. The reason why she has wings is because that's her representative animal. That's just the most tip of the iceberg. Basically, loona has a whole universe and worldview and their mvs interconnect with each other so one has to watch their old mvs if they wish to understand the storyline.

About the odd eye that you said, there's no way that they copied them. Though they both have odd eyes in their lore. However, loona's odd eye dates back in 2017, when the sub unit oec was formed oec meant odd eye circle. And the odd eye has been present then in their mvs.
