Gary is a big believer in that being the underdog and coming from what most perceive as a "disadvantage" has actually become his greatest strength. Coming up from the dirt and dealing with tons of adversity are things people tend to try and avoid, but welcoming it with open arms will not only make you more tolerant to it in the future but also give you more experience when dealing with similar situations.
