I think a Penny Arcade comic from a couple weeks ago summed it up best: Red Hood gave up on killing people, but he's too addicted to shooting people.

So many new games these days have decent concepts but then throw in annoying parts that kind of ruin the overall experience. "Games as a Service" or games that encourage micro-transactions just suck the ever loving fun out of games. Really, truly, fun games are few and far between these days as far as I can tell.

Thought they would've mentioned how this is one of the few games where characters knock people off building with nothing to recover them (Spiderman ps4) lov pushing enemies off buildings just to jump off and see where they landed

Just as an FYI on the live service model joke at 1:15, on a recent episode of Triple Click Jason Schreier said he asked a contact of his that worked on the game from the start about it and they said there were never any plans for it to have microtransactions, as live service games tend to have, so it doesn't seem to have been designed as a live service after all. For reference he said it in Triple Click episode 127.

Yeah I feel like Rocksteady have a better understanding of and feel for the DC universe. They did a great job with the previous three Batman games and there’s no reason to think Suicide Squad will be any different. From what I’ve seen of cinematic and gameplay trailers, it looks like they’ve kept the spirit of the Batman games. Here’s hoping anyway!

They butchered the Hush story, they claimed Arkham Knight was a new character when it was just Jason Todd in a new outfit. And they Shoved the Batmobile down your throat in the last game.

Arkham City and Asylum were the greatest Batman games ever made hands down. people complain to much about Knight and the Tank feature yet the games graphics and gameplay mechanics completely superior over Gotham Knights. you sound like someone who is never pleased with anything

I will never understand how they manage to mess up video games that are based on superheros that have existed for decades. Nearly all the work has been done for them. Character designs. Villains. Personalities. Aesthetic design. Literally just take one of the stories and adapt it into a game. Good God.

It was just the same joke over and over, and the joke wasn’t even funny (which I guess is the point cause it’s “educational,” but it’s still not fun to watch or listen to). On the whole, I feel the game trailers are more balanced in their jokes without having to hit the same aggressive notes over and over again or feel like they have to loudly make a point. But yeah, the saving private Ryan trailer was better, so it is possible for the movie guys to be funny

Same I find it enjoyable. The only things that really bugs me is the grappling hook and that there isn’t much story mode game play that isn’t fighting (I mean like in games like Spider-Man they had other like side quests) I’d love to see them do what they say in like the emails such as movie night

You forgot to mention the Batman Beyond DLC included in the deluxe edition, whose main purpose is to remind us just how awesome a AAA Batman Beyond game could be.

Gameplay is terrible, storyline predictable, didn’t enjoy one thing about this game but love every single thing about the arkham games. First time in my 40 year life I’ve ever asked for a refund for a game, they said no so I thought I’ll just play out the storyline because at least that would warrant my money I spent on the game which was a choir. I was terribly wrong. It was so surprising that Talia brought Batman back to life with the Lazarus pit… wow totally caught me of guard lmao how obvious short a boring was this game. Felt like it was a game beating up antifa

just bought it on sale… it’s not a great game but I’m still hooked! 😂 the vigilante hook works and how new cases reveal to you is interesting. Plus once you get into a character you get more combat options and it’s starts to flow

Dude I was expecting this game to be avengers level terrible. But playing since Friday, i haven’t experienced one bug or glitch and the game hasn’t crashed at all. Mw2 crashes my ps5 at least once every couple days.

It's not that bad like you said once you play more one character the flow will be better and each character will have their own strength so playstyle later on will different as well. About the gear it somewhat same as in marvel spiderman not good but not bad sometimes i could be abit grinding but not all the time. I have play all previous batman game and to be honest i still miss the batmobile but the batcycle is not bad i mean since its not a tank as batmobile as well as fast but at least the details about auto conceal is pretty good i like that explaination
