HI Nigel , I'm half way through my treatment meaning had 1 of 2 visits , I'm originally from Nottingham but have lived is Los Angeles for 25 years now . I had a similar experience regarding the treatment meaning I sent 2 and 3D x-rays , got the quote , booked the tickets flew for 14 hours got to the clinic and was told the treatment prescribed would not be correct given the tomography scan results . This meant bridges would not work , implants would be needed . back and fourth on the revised treatment and bill , got to an agreement and moved forward . day 1 , teeth shaved , day 2 off (Sunday) day 3 , 8 teeth out (3 Wisdom teeth , 1 needed chiseling out , lots of fun) 2 sinus lifts , 2 bone grafts and gum contouring , 5 Implants Nice !! . day 4 , Crown fit dry run , day 5, Crown cementing . In short Extremely happy and Attelia ROCK !! . Now planning the return and I'm told that the hotel is not covered (no big deal) just not what I thought at the initial visit , is this what you experienced also ? so the end of November Trip #2 , my wife won't go because the flights are brutally long and very uncomfortable . so $2K for Steerage on the plane and $700 for the hotel on top of the dental procedure . 1 thing that no one has mentioned in the VLOGS , is the instant removal of boundaries and immediate comradery you get with all patients , English , German , Australian ETC . All the best mate , glad you're doing better and hoping that I'm NOT going to have the same experience LOL . Jon

Hi Jon, Sorry I didn't reply earlier - no notification that you had commented. Yes - I only got the free hotel stay for my first trip, I had to pay for my other visits also. I ended up staying in the same place however, was a little pricey but I knew it was good and worth the price. Good luck in November - I'm just over one year on now and couldn't be happier! Hi Nigel. Both videos are great, thanks for sharing such a personal story! I'm due to fly out to Attelia in two weeks and if I'm honest I am looking for a little reassurance. All the research seems to point to other dentists in Antalya with very little about Attelia. Do you still recommend them now that you have had your new teeth for a while? Appreciate your time mate.

Hi. 100% yes! Its been well over a year since I finished my journey and have never looked back - absolutely nothing negative to report. Even my dentist here in the UK has said they did a good job, I've had two checks ups and hygienist visits and they said everything is fine. I struggle to floss under the bridges - but the waterpik I bought seems to do a good job. But, as you heard in my 2nd video, the level of care they gave me when I fell ill (unrelated to the dental work) was outstanding - I would have been screwed without Attelia's intervention and care. Are they better than other Antalya clinics? I have no idea, but I would go back to them in a heartbeat if I ever needed anything else again. Have a great trip, hope everything works out for you.

Hiya. Everything is great, so glad I did it. The only minor thing is it is hard for me to floss under the bridges so I am fully reliant on a water flosser which probably isnt the best thing for gums using it every day - but hey-ho. Thats not the teeth - I have some neuropathy issues in my fingers so I struggle with intricate tasks anyway. Even my UK dentist reluctantly admitted that Attelia done a great job. At some point I'll have a break in Antalya and have a free check up, but no hurry on that.

What a story. Great information . Im just going over to antalya to a clinc called smiles.£4100 for my upper jaw an all on 4 they call it .( I have a denture there at the moment) .Thats bed and breakfast transfers an no extras such as injections. My bottom teeth are fine. I went to a hotel in leeds where there had a clinic. And agreed to the price and booked flight's. Just wondering if ive overpaid. Whats your thoughts. Could you also recommend any insurance company.. Your smile is looking great i must admit

Cheers Andrew - I'm very happy with my smile too! Regarding insurance, no I can't recommend one - I haven't looked to be honest. On my first video, someone in the comments said 'Try medical travel shield. They specialised in surgery abroad insurance.' Perhaps give them a look. £4k sounds about right - for both jaws mine ended up more than that so it sounds a good price to me. You can pay up to £10k per jaw for that in the UK! @@nigel158b hi thanks for the reply £4100 just for the upper jaw .£6200 for both jaws all on 4. i went with the dental shield insurance as mentioned £64 for my 6 day visit hopefully i wont need it

Hi these videos have been a massive help Just a bit confused on why you became ill and ended up in hospital ? Was it due to the treatment from Attellia

@@brendonsteel3477 hi Brendon. Absolutely nothing to do with the dental treatment, my illness was totally unrelated. But the way Attellia looked after me was simply incredible. I would have been lost without them and I’ll be forever grateful to them. Glad the videos have helped, best of luck.

Nigel, you are some man, so positive. Your looking fantastic. Tell me, what caused the infection? All going well for me I think. Only bottom teeth shaved down in my mouth for 5 days, nothing on the top for 5 days and just hoping for the best.

That’s kind of you to say Donna, feeing good! I got covid out there and my immune system screwed up and attacked my nerves, hence losing the use of my hands and legs. But, made a really good recovery so far thanks in part I think for not feeling sorry for myself and cracking on with it! Glad to hear it’s all going well over there, it’s going to be worth the inconvenience you’re currently experiencing, soon you’ll have a beautiful smile.

@@donnareynolds8347 ‘Waterpik’ I bought it off Amazon I think, but places like Argos sell them too. Very easy to use, but I recommend you don’t fill it with cold water if you have sensitivity, warm water is better.
