We have subscribed to Butcher Box about 2 years. We love it. I just wish I had a larger freezer so that I could take better advantage of their sales. The quality has never let us down.

I used to order from Butcher Box. We stopped using them. The chicken was tough. Although they product is vacuumed they leak therefore do not stay vacuum packed. The beef was ok, nothing to rave about. Just my opinion.

@@FromtheRootsUp the vacuum packed beef also leaked once the product was thawed the juices would leak out of the package. I will be interested to see how you find the meat also. Good luck!

Been a member since around Covid time. Really like the selections/ flavor, convenience, etc. I usually get the thick cut ribeye and over the years, I have signed up for free wings for life, free bacon for life and free ground beef for life so I get those in every box. It is a bit more expensive per pound price but not having to shop and spend that time and gas is worth it in my opinion.

I always go for the best when possible, here is what they have 3.75 pounds total for $179.00 before tax. Not worth it for me. I only eat NY steaks and Ribeyes. They are only giving me 7.5lb (20oz x6) and charging me 150 pretax. That is like 20 dollars an lb. At my local sams i get NY strips for 8.99 an lb and they are grass feed and finished. Now, i dont think my ribeyes are grass feed, but they are about 14 an lb.

About 150 for basic box: 10lbs of beef/chicken/pork you can choose the animal/combos but not the cuts. 160 if you want to pick the cuts. I get mine every 2mo. The best part is in the add-on deals that make it worthwhile, you can get fairly good deals on various cuts. Cost is comparable or better vs natural grocery store for grass fed organic, altho that prob depends on location. Been subscribed for 5yrs now no regrets. Generally the customer service has been good too

We have subsribed for about 2 years. ALWAYS a good selection and the add-ons that they suggest each month are a great selection. Never a bad cut of meat. Also great recipes available on their sit also. It's nice that you pay a set price.

Hi Kristy, Lance and sweet family! I’ve been debating about a subscription, but I just found a butcher that sells grass fed, grass finished beef and organic poultry and the pork is supposed to be antibiotic and no nitrates or those bad shots. Many meat packers for stores mix their meat together from different animals. Do you know if this is the case with Butcher Box? (Sorry if I missed that part.) Thank you.

I live in the UK and will look out for something like this as im about to begin a carnivore diet to clear up asthma, psoriasis, weight issues, and hopefully gain a better mind in the process.... i have four boys that are growing like the weeds they eat.... a good diet will do them good.

I went camping with my son a few weeks ago and stopped at a butcher near wjere we were going, and a pound of rib eye steaks was $23 per lb!

No ribeyes ATM? Can’t find em online

We have family in Montana that are 2.5 hours away from a Sam's or Costco so this would make sense. At Walmart I could get this haul for $210 or $7 a pound

What shipping service delivers Butcher Box? We have trouble with fedex.

$169 dollars before taxes for 9-14 pounds of meat. A bit expensive for what little one gets.

It's good as in the product.. but as long as you can afford it, go for it.

Yes, I found the most affordable way is definitely to buy the smallest box and then add the deals, many of them are good prices. But it is definitely more expensive than buying the cheapest cuts at Walmart.
