Hondo is really going through it now. Losing over half his squad to them moving on, having his own neighborhood turn on him over a justified shooting, etc

This guy was literaly armed he drop it as soon as Hondo shot him come on man and this the type of stuff to happen in real life im not saying all cops are justified by shooting and killing but when you have a suspect that turns and looks like he drawing for something you always have to be careful.

Doesn't Hondo wear a body cam ? If they go to court, the only thing they needed is to pull up his body cam and see that the criminal did draw the gun. Would be interesting if for the final episode, we found out that one of the civilians in the park took the gun. or Maybe after viewing the footage, you can see one of the civs in the background taking the gun.

Ik adrenaline is pumping and all but you can SEE the gun fall out of his hands, HEAR the gun hit the ground, plus at this point Hondo is an ICON to the South side (his neighborhood) and the LAST DUDE to shoot someone unarmed and if he did he'd be rhe first to turn in his badge.
