Honda XR150L Yoshimura exhaust & interstate riding with a 188cc BBK

2023 Honda XR150L fully desmogged, intake snorkel and restrictor removed, Yoshimura exhaust with the spark arrestor out, and 64.5mm piston/big bore kit with a BBR cam. Runs pretty good and rides fine even on the interstate. Runs out of gearing before I'd say it runs out of power, and even at elevation I'm easily able to hit the absolute top speed of the bike which is roughly 75mph actively banging limiter in 5th.

    I say just get a CRF300L if that is the goal. The Xr150L has adequate power for its intended role as a 150cc all-purpose machine.

    Can you tell us about the mods you have done , cly work , head work , carb , I also am interested in top speed and improved bottom end toque , I presume that pipe is a slip-on . Most of us XR150L owners are looking for a little more speed to occasionally do short hwy runs . A little bit of a safer speed . SORRY I missed reading the description first . parts and cost info would be nice thanks .

    I think we live very close. I also have a black edition but I have a 222cc big bore kit. Edit: I also have a BBR cam. I have a wideband though if you want help tuning yours?
