Did this a few years back. The wiring diagram made it not too much of a chore. I also added an on/off headlight switch so i can leave the headlight off to save battery power when starting the bike. Also i have the SAME starter switch in the SAME spot as your friend haha. It fits perfectly. Great vid!

Love your videos and have probably watched them all at this point. You've given me the extra motivation to rebuild my 1988 VT 600. I have it in pieces and am painting the bike a blue on black. While I'm not bobbing the bike it's nonetheless cool to get some motivation and inspiration from you guys. Also love the long sleeve shirt and key tags I got today. Long Island, NY.

For things like the started button I like to connect my wire to the button then cut one end off of the solder sleeve so the solder is on the end then slide that end up to the button and melt it so it can still be soldered then is sleeved aswell.

Wow you guys are amazing! I bought a 1995 shadow bobber that needs the wiring harness pulled out and redone very much like this video.. about a month ago I ran into some issues dealing with the bike starting and stalling out when stood vertical.. she’s never had any issues before and honestly I can’t figure it out!! The wiring was not done by me and I just want to get the harness cleaned up and rerun. I live in Los Angeles and looking for someone who does that work.. any leads would be greatly appreciated.. thank you and have a blessed day..

I was like that too but I realized if I don’t make mistakes, i will never learn. If you break something, you can always fix or replace it.
