    Great video! I currently own a 2022 Honda Rubicon and 2023 Suzuki KingQuad. Previously owned a 2016 Rubicon and 2013 Foreman. I have ridden many other makes and models for the past 40 years. Nothing like a Rubicon… but I do love my new KingQuad 750 (more time will tell). I think I’ll always own a Honda Rubicon.

    You mentioned that the power steering seemed weaker, did you check to see if you have a weak battery ? I have heard that this can cause the power steering to get weak if the battery is weak.

  • @JacobOverman

    @JacobOverman

    18 күн бұрын

    That’s something to check. It is the original battery. However it doesn’t have the feeling that it just doesn’t work. It won’t return straight when you let off. I let off the bars and it stays. Pulling right or left. Feels like it’s locking up almost.

    @@JacobOverman I was curious about this particular part, and it’s nearly $1,000.00 from partzilla. I know a lot of people but aftermarket wheels and tires after they buy their machines, but a lot of people don’t seem to realize how much additional weight they are putting on each axle , and hub vs stock. The stock wheels, and tires on Honda Ranchers for example are like 23lbs give or take a pound. If you go up an inch or two in size with a heavier rubber compound 6 ply tire, you’re going to put more stress on the mechanical components of those machines. Over 1,000’s of miles some parts will wear prematurely as a result. I believe people would get better life out of their machines, and their components if they just stayed with stock, or at least watched how much extra weight they are putting on those hubs. Those aftermarket tires may be more than double the weight, and grip better so the power steering is going to have to work harder regularly. I’ve seen new Honda Ranchers break axles from guys throwing 28 inch mudding tires by repeatedly popping wheeliesYeah if you throw 60lb ag like tires on it, and constantly pop wheelies, when it hooks up it can snap the axle, and wheel just fall off. Honda Ranchers and the Foreman’s use the same straight rear axle. In soft mud they may be less likely to snap, but not on harder surfaces where it really digs in. Those heavier tires will also cause the differential to wear quicker to, again over several thousand miles. I’ve seen Honda Ranchers with over 50,000 miles on them but they used stock wheels and tires.

  • @JacobOverman

    @JacobOverman

    It’s hard to say. It comes down to two things. Do you want a little extra power and top speed. Or do you want something that will last forever and won’t make you mad every other day because bolts are falling out of it. The grizzly is not built as good. The Honda top speed is around 48-50 and the grizzly is 62 mph. If you don’t need to go over 45 than I would get the Honda everyday of the week.

    Floorboards on the grizzly are terrible, fender coverage is terrible, seat doesn’t have a latch. Just sits there in some rubber. CVT trans makes noise. However there are a few things I like better. Better power steering, more power, nice easy to read gauge cluster.

    Honda are reliable because they don’t have enough power to break just like a 7.3 ps. Hondas are great but their a little to proud when it’s come to price to value of what you get. I got tired of buying a Honda then having to put bigger tires and headlights and all the other crap because they never come with the good stuff. They all have repair shops just like trucks.

    @@benlouwagie4567totally let down… why? Because it is not any different than the rincon we have had for 20 years. They ruined the rubicon name and look by putting it on such a turd. Don’t know where you get 3x the power from. It’s the same everything we have had for years. The really big let down is that they couldn’t even add the basics like power steering and diff lock. I’m getting the 3x power claim from the fact that the engine specs match the pioneer 700, not the old rincon. It seems to be a pioneer 700 drivetrain squeezed into the rubicon frame
