Nice Video. Very informative. In 2021, I was deciding between the Recon and Brute Force. I wanted the Honda so I could shift gears manually, but the out the door prices were $1 thousand to 1.5k more than the Brute Force 300. Also, Kawasaki had a 1 year 0% financing deal, so I got the Brute Force. I knew it was built by Kymco. I hace a Kymco scooter that's well built and runs great, so I didn't worry. The Brute Force 300 has been a great quad, and it'll go really fast. The motor has an approx 11:1 compression ratio, so its snappy. Plastics are very tough. I put a Ricochet Off Road skid plate on it -- which I highly recommend. Last year I got a deal on a used 2021 Kymco Mongoose 270. It uses the same engine as the Brute Force 300. There is no difference in quality between the Kymco and Kawi branded quads. Plastics are nice on each and components, welds, paint, and overall fit and finish are comparable. Where Kymco fails is in their dealer support. There aren't many dealers in the US and their corporation can't seem to decide whether or not to support the US market. I can still get engine parts from Kawasaki, but most other parts for the Mongoose 270 will have to be ordered from Europe :(. I consider the Mongoose as a sport version of the Brute Force 300.

I have a 2013 model brute force 300 for 9 years and I have already completed 37,000 miles, I already had a 2007 model bayou 250, since I bought the brute force 300 I use it every day as my transport in a small city, they are very comfortable to wear It drives, has good speed, brakes are excellent, and the Bayou 250 has been sitting in my garage. i totally agree about what you say about the brute force 300. keep in mind that the transmission uses a different oil and does not have a sight glass and should be changed at the end of the miles. You should also check and if necessary change the rear axle bearings, mainly those on the left side because they only have factory grease. The same happens with the bearings of the arms of the front suspension. Thanks for the video.

Got to take this bf. To the sand trails. It's ridiculous. I got the govt screw in all the way for break in. I'm very happy with her. The low is a great creeper. She idles up steep hills with me and mom on the back. She gets halfway on the temp gauge. So far. So good. The park brake sucks. But she don't roll in deep sugar sand. Lol. So far I'm very impressed. Have a 2018 brute force 300, they're good little ATVs so far just have under 300 miles on it and still running strong, i was thinking that the CVT transmission wouldn't hold up but so far no issue it's definitely faster on takeoff then my 2003 electric shift honda recon 250 but the Honda tops out higher i usually end up passing the brute force after 3rd gear but the breaks definitely are a while lot better on the brute force the recon feels scary sometimes but it also has a big bore kit and a upgraded carb so it's way more punchy then the brute force so it's a tough decision although I'm pretty sure the Honda will outlast the kawasaki

My take after 150 miles. It's no kids quad or wife's quad. The park brake sucks. I had to put the govt screw back in. Has a powerband of a snowmobile. Once the driven clutch engages. It's a rocket ship. Cold starts can be a pain. But once it is warm. Instant start. Plenty fast fer this old man. Maybe too much. Cheers

Those 300cc are made in Taiwan by Kymco which sells the same atv under MXU 300 name in Europe for last 15 years basically unchanged. Maybe not like Honda but can easily go over 15k miles without major problems. Great for recreational riding and beginner riders. This honda model is cramped for bigger riders, outdated and quality is not like it used to be.

@@drumroosteri don't know about that, but at this part of the world they were selling for the same price. Unfortunately brute force is not available for purchase new this last 2 years and kymco sells 300 with efi and carb versions for aprox. 5200 eur. Also all part numbers are the same for kawi and kymco.
