It’s criminal the stock exhaust this bike comes with. First upgrade has to be the exhaust. Sounds great!

How tall are you, and how well does it do on highway? Im 5'10, nearly 6' in boots and the dealer talked me out of the 500 SE ABS into getting a Vulcan S650, saying it matched my size, was better on highway and i wouldn't outgrow it as fast.

My friend is 5’5” You made the right call. The Rebel does just fine on the highway, but less comfortable after a few hours of riding. I also went for the Vulcan S. Very happy with mine.

@@mfpun-nz thank God. I've been suffering from FOMO ever since the the purchase. The bike will be delivered this week, and the amount of content and hype I see around the rebel 500 compared to the vulcan had me worried I made the wrong choice. Also doesn't help that the dealer wouldn't let me test drive it, so I have no idea how it will feel when its in my hands for real. I wish more people talked about the S650 more. Kinda hard to find recent entertaining content on it other than the Cafe version.

I'm 5.3 and I ride a daytona 675 which has a seat height of over 32 inches. You can definitely ride a crusier and even a ninja 400 so don't be discouraged. As long as you can flat foot one leg it's not a problem.

It's a 500cc, so don't expect big numbers. Goes really well though and more than enough to keep up on the highway.

Yeah. The O2 sensor is still on there, but you're right, it's like having almost no exhaust. I'll put it to you this way, I won't do it to my bike. This Rebel belongs to a mate of mine. His bike and his wallet. Ha, ha!

He said usually in modern vehicles it wont matter much as long as theyre longer and a little more covered than a shorty exausth i had a cbr 600 with a aftermarket pipe it was alr.. Anyways good video and nice to see another fellow biker who is into chill but nice costumizable bikes as well
