+Lambo I think this is mostly an american thing to only drive your supercar in good weather. Here in Germany you always see all kinds of supercars on the Autobahn during the worst weather, especially AWD/4-wheel drive ones. When i still had my 2008 R8 i would also drive it in the snow.

I find it semi retarded to test pinnacle of car design in rain. These cars push limits of laws of physics, but in rain you will never know what they're capable of. Useless review, and waste of cars.

Arthur Arthur Dude don’t waste your time. People will always have something to say about the new NSX. Just look at the facts.. the weather conditions in this video put the NSX into a disadvantage (tires as well..) and they stay doing test runs and races while it rains or after it stops raining. Not to sound messed up, but it rains over there in the UK almost all of the time. I’ve seen the car crap on Lamborghinis, Ferraris, GTRs, etc.. Also not everyone in the comment section has had the opportunity to drive any of the cars in their videos.

Ivan Murray - I rather have center screen that was a rip-off from an Aventador vs the center screen from a Honda Civic. Have you seen the NSX interior and then compare it to the Civic?? Same cheap low res Garmin Nav. Low res camera. Manual steering adjustment with no auto adjust. And no still Blind Spot monitoring. Even the Honda Accord has better center console than the NSX. 😂

His reviews are so good. The way he feels the cars, and explains, while demonstrating with driving, the characteristics of the cars are really made obvious for someone who knows cars. If I was shopping in a car of that price range, or some class, where Chris reviews the competition, I would be definitely able to make a choice only based on the video. He drives really good, and gives detail on every aspect of handling, performance, overall chassis balance, and actually everything. I would definitely trust his "how does it drive", compared to Doug DeMuro's "and now it's time to take it on the road, and see how it drives".

@@oogway1234 It hasn't been 10 years yet but the NSX is by far the best 'overall" performing "super car" and it has the best reliability scores. It is also very easy to live with for many types of drivers. Plus, considering it's styling, it will age very well and then there is the fact that in total, not many will have been build by the time production stops, increasing the collectability factor in time.

R8 v10 plus goes 0-100kmph in 3.2 sec and v10 goes 0-100kmph in 3.5 sec, v10 plus boasts 610hp and ordinary v10 540hp. The video has v10 plus but not the title which makes a huge difference +K!NG

Dear Chris Harris. I am an owner of the new R8 V10 Plus. I owned a 991.1 Turbo S before. I really like your reviews but I am kind of disappointed that you didn't bother to experience the various driving modes of the R8 (you confirmed in your first R8 video and in this one that you don't like the many choices but personally, I think there should be more choices to adapt the car to the driver and road/track conditions). Two hints for you: 1. If you switch to Performance mode WET, you get the maximum performance in the rain, also because the AWD switches to a more neutral setup, optimized for maximum traction. According to the video, you were driving in Dynamic mode, which is not good for rain because a big part of the power/torque goes to the rear axle. Many don't know that you can even switch ESP back on in the various Performance modes, thus optimizing stability under rainy conditions. 2. Once you switch to the Performance modes, the Dynamic steering isn't really dynamic anymore. LOL Keep on with your great reviews but it is pretty clear that you're not an Audi fan. At least you praised the engine and yes, it is the best n/a engine on the market right now and it sounds incredibly good. I already did over 16000 km in my R8 and wouldn't switch it with any car on this planet. Oh wait, there is one exception: The Huracan Performante.

Lol, the very first owner of NSX in my country just recently sold his car with only 685km mileage. He’s traded it for 991.2 GT3.

Love my Turbo S. You can use it like the supercar it is, in any weather. Even launch control is barely affected by rain.

It's 105F here in California today, Chris; I'd gladly take that weather at this moment

More miles per gallon , less emissions. It's the future and it's not supposed to match a naturally aspirated V10 in pace anyway , and with those trofeos in that weather and looking at your condescending tone , I don't think you have the ability to understand what the nsx means .

It's just a shame that they can't swap out the tires on those days. Have like the Top Gear official pit crew that could change all 4 in under 10 seconds, but they're lazy so they do it in like 20 minutes.

Very glad that Chriss Harris realizes what the NSX is. Alot of people simply hate on it for the price and being "just a honda/acura". On paper - and saying it was a Mclaren, ferrari, or Lamborghini - most of the negative reviews would be praise. Chris is not going into it with the idea he will hate it - unlike alot of others. Personally would kill for one. Maybe one day. I love the design - a turbo v6 with the electric motors IS the future. One day it will be remembered as "one of the first of its kind".

Besides the great cars, no one talks about how great of a driver Chris is. Been a fan since his DRIVE days. Not afraid at all to flog a million dollar car.

I still don't understand why they made the NSX so, dare I say it, slow. Now before you rage in replies, hear me out. It's proven itself to be very capable on track, so that's not what I mean, I mean the fact that it has 3 electric engines that combined make less than 90hp. That's a lot of weight to add on for that little power. No, the original NSX wasn't a power monster either, but it was light weight and simple, a pure drivers car. The new NSX being so heavy it obviously needs more power to be comparable to a 911 turbo or a R8 V10+ in a drag. The way I'd like to see a NSX is drop the electric shenanigans and drop like 400-500kg, or get more powerful electric engines, like 175-225 electric hp, to bring total up to 650-700hp to compensate for that weight. But hey, I'm not a car company, I just like complaining.

Strangely, Honda made a car that does not perform as well as a relatively low tech GT-R, has so much more complicated tech that doesn't translate into superior performance, and is far more expensive. Other than the decent styling, I'm not sure what's so appealing about it.

The old car wasnt that powerful either...and this one had bad rubber on for the weather. And even if they didn't do a perfect job, it isn't always about the numbers...GT-R is fast but it isn't as fun or engaging as a mid engine let's say Cayman S. About the same cost, Porsche i slower but more fun to drive (like 99% of car journalists would say that) so people still gonna buy the Cayman because speed and power isn't everything. Everybody is numberhumping nowdays...go drive a new MX-5 and see how much fun you can have with 160hp , people even prefer the 1.5 130hp version because it feels lighter.

Elieza Aaliyah pretty much all AWD supercars can do that. But the weight and relatively low HP output means that 60-100 and up will be slow compared to the other 2 cars in the video.
