Awesome! Always keeping my eye out for a Monkey around here. They don't pop up often. Which just tells me they're worth keeping and using 😁

I got mine a week ago, absolute joy and very nimble, the seat is magical, I guess the previous owner of my bike installed a 14T sprocket, the odometer is off by 5-6 mph, nonetheless it’s amazing 🤩 Great review, subscriber here, cheers mate

Had Mine almost 7 months now, it is 2019 model and had 600km when I bought it. It is almost 15.000km now and not had even a minute issue with it. Sounds and rides like New. I lowered the front mudguard when I got it, keeps me and bike cleaner. Put a mudflap on there too. Just used flat aluminum bar and lowered it myself, took model from comercially made kits. Original chains were not good, lasted 5600km. These D.I.D chains are way better, done almost 10k and now starting to stretch. Back sprockets is original and almost like New, front is a bit worn. Front tire is half worn original, backone lasted 8200km. Changed oil every 2000km. Did first bigger oil change at mandated 12.000km, no need to do by then, filters were almost empty. P. S. I recommend forest trails to everyone with this, it's a hoot! Goes even on loose sand slow, great bike. Real consumption is 1,5L/100km. And you really feel the speed with this one, no need to go stupidly fast for riding to be exciting!

Had mine since 1/15/22 Black 2022 and I've been all over the place with this thing with liking it, loving it, scarred to death on it or wanting to sell it Lol Now that I've "dialed it in" tweeked it and it's more comfortable and I also have lost some weight it feels better. But, seriously, if you weigh more than the 231 weight limit, this bike is going to feel too light and too small for you. I love mine for what it is and it's teaching me to ride. But, it's only teaching me to ride from 0-45, city driving. If you're a bigger rider and I had it to do over again. I would have gone at least 300cc. With the small tires and low weight, weather, wind all effect this little Monkey more than other bikes I have to assume. It effects the Monkey, very slippery. I don't really like going 10 mph slower just because it's a head wind I'm riding into, because the engine won't take me any faster. Still thank you, all you guys posting these Monkey reviews and at least motivating me to get something anyway. With sales taxes and other costs I feel kind of stuck with an under powered bike. I would only recommend a Monkey if your between 100 and 200 pounds tops and shorter people Lol And rural slower roads and no large trucks or you're going to be blown around on a Monkey here in the USA. I see this bike is a better fit in the UK because the scale of your roads isn't as huge as our insane 8 lane roads and Interstates. This bike is not safe on our interstates. Think about it a little longer than I did guys, good luck.

Howdy bud, the rack was hand made by a company called Atherton Creative Engineering (based in Atherton in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿) It fits over the standard Honda rear rack. Dan at A.C.E does great fabrication. Cheers Dean

I love mine as well 🥰. I agree about the 2022 version kind of deviating from the 2019 look. Blacked out bits that I prefer to stay chrome. Whats your mileage now? I just hit 5k problem free miles. Thanks for representing us 🐵👍

Am at 52,000 miles on my 2020. Recently replaced the clutch discs+plates but to my surprise it wasn't really that worn, just a bit varnished on account of the weak stock springs. Only real mechanical problem I've had was a bad cam chain tensioner - easy fix. Thinking of replacing the piston + rings soon as it burns a bit of oil now but nothing major.

@@humblegrumble1615 Wow thats awesome mileage vs issues. Most cars don't make it that far these days without breaking down or some big recall. Thanks for sharing thus update. Hopefully folks considering one will read this great bit of reliability.

@@findingneutral Thanks! They are great little bikes, still haven't tired of riding it at all. I still thrash it around all over on roads filled with big tourers and sports bikes, and other bikers look at me like "what makes him think he's got a right to be doing this on THAT thing?" Haha. They're probably thinking they wouldn't dare venture far out of the city on something that small but the Monkey goes all over and does everything - at a fraction of the cost. 😂 Reckon Honda will send me a new one if make it to 100,000 miles? You can't buy PR like that lol

The paintwork is different. The 2028,2029 2020 and 2021 models have the Colour on top and white at the bottom, like classic Honda bikes. The 2022 has the colour at the bottom and grey/ silver on top and it isn’t a straight line. I think they have moved away from the retro look, but it is only an opinion. Your opinion is also valid. Cheers 🍻 Dean
