Thank you!!!!!!!’ I have spent years trying to start our mower when cold by pulling it 50 bloody times and then giving it a sniff of aero start!!! Your video has solved this, followed your instructions and surprise ,started first pull!!! You are definitely worth more money!!!!!!!
Mate, I have problems starting mine for years...this is the first video I come a cross showing how to fix it, jus finished doing what you said and bingo! Thanks so much 👌
Can’t believe how lucky I was to find this video, 5 min job and it worked great…. Thanks @geelong mowing
I can manually reach in and flip the carb to choke, but then actually moving the lever to choke then actually releases it. Grrrr.
I tried this fix and the mower starts fine now, good fix
Thank you very much for the solution and for great instructions! Your video immediately solved my long-term problem with the GXV160 engine. Best wishes.
You Legend! I just picked up a mint HRU196 the guy was jack of as it took 5 mins to start, did this and BANG it started first pull. Best part is that he'd JUST had it serviced so it's ready for the year! 🤘
Can the part which has CB303 ever bugger up. My machine won’t start at all. I’ve drained the old fuel, cleaned the carb including pull the jet out (it’s clear) spark plug is fine as it works in another machine. I’m a bit stuck!
Got a thirty year old hru194 same problem going to give it a go ,because as of now I’ve been starting it with a drill ,great video
Great vid i wish my local small engine shop knew this before they said the new motor was done and i have been troubleshooting it for a couple months.
Very clear and easy to do instructions...thank you
Brilliant vid, just what i needed
Rang into this issue two days ago and worked out the choke wasn’t working. Been trying to find a video as to why the lever wasn’t activating and the solution. I’ll be trying this is a few days when it’s not 42 Deg C.
I think you are the man with the best advice I might need to get a old Honda HRU 214 lawnmower running on it's own & properly like should. Thanks mate
So simple to follow and fixed the starting issue straight away. Absolute legend. Thanks for sharing!
Just wanted to say thanks for this video. 2 216's that wouldn't hit choke. Now they do and I know why. Thanks a heap.
Absolute champion, just solved my problem in about 5min flat, thanks!
Thanks!!!! Finally i was able to fix it because of you.
Exactly what I needed to know, Tks!
thanks,,, i will give it a try
