Although you stated replacement of both valves, I didn’t see the replacement of the high side valve. Because replacement of the high side valve is definitely different since its entire external fitting has to be unscrewed and replaced instead of just the Schrader valve.

Hello! Thank you for the very helpful video. Just a quick question, where can I buy the replacement valve for the low pressure ac port? Are they all the same for all cars? The lower pressure valve on my 2003 bmw 325i is broken and leaking. Thanks for the help!

If you just need to replace the low side valve do you need to evacuate the system, is it empty if you hit the valve and no air comes out? Mine does have air pressure when I press on the low side valve and I see small leak from it but I have no vacuum equipment to take it out, so if just one side does it still need to all be removed?

When, for example, you replace the condenser and thus all the freon is removed from the system, can you recharge the low port with this method? I thought the compressor had to be running to accept freon into the lines. And having no freon in the system, wouldn't the compressor not run?

Hey thanks for the video. I took my car to the Honda dealership and they said I need a AC Discharge Hose. However I don't completely trust them seeing as I took my car to them for the same problem, paid them $400, and the issue was not fixed. This time they tried to charge me $1k. Should I try replacing the the AC valve first before replacing the entire hose?

You can't just always fill to 30 psi. Psi varies with different ambient temps. And your vents would be blowing out way colder if you pulled a vacuum and charged correctly. I've seen vent temps as low as 20 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer on a properly charged system!

Can someone please help me.. i recently rebuilt my ac system in my car. New compressor, new condenser, new evap, expansion valve, cleaned out the original ac lines with ac flush fluid and even new o rings for leak proof seal. before recharging my system i vacuumed the system for 1 hour, turned vacuum off and waited an hour, the pressure still remained negative so once i knew the seal was leak proof i vacuumed for an additional hour and then proceeded to recharged the system. While recharging the system i made sure to purge the yellow line to get all the air out before adding refrigerant. this is where I messed up... added too much refrigerant...... after a few days of ac working, it stopped. compressor wont kick on anymore but still spins freely by hand. i went to uncap the high and low pressure caps to check pressure and the high pressure cap boom! goes flying out and starts to constantly leak refrigerant and i believe the compressor oil. the high pressure valve on the line i guess blew/busted. can i replace just the valve? and now that the compressor oil seemed to have leaked with the refrigerant how do i know how much more compressor oil i need to add with the refrigerant after my ac line is fixed?

What I am saying is if you have a Leakey valve, you can remove the cap, pop on a no-loss removal tool and close the valve... Screw on the core removal portion then open the valve... Advance forward and unscrew the bad core. It will pop up... Turn off the valve, unscrew the core and reverse to install a new one. No need to recover and recharge as you loose virtually nothing

For having a shop and working on vehicles you sure dont read and comprehend very well.....it says colder air 50% FASTER. Meaning that the air is cold in half the time that it takes normal freon to get to the SAME temperature. Whether that is true or not would take a time comparison using an immediate reading device such as an laser temp gauge not a turkey thermometer. Thank you for the video, maybe next time we leave the comentary out. Haha. Good day

How exactly would it get colder faster? If it's at a certain pressure, it's at the same temp of all manufacturers of 134A. If it's not then its not 134S and the pressures would be different.
