Wonderful review. Having tested the Meteor yesterday, I endorse the findings of Abhinav and reserve my comments on Hi'ness till I get the opportunity to ride after opening of show room hopefully at Bhubaneswar. 👍

@@bitanroy4602 No other complaint except for the suspension. Front suspension is not at all upto my expectations for the kind of roads we have in India. I would say it is the best 350cc for all sorts of rides. It is sooooo light. I couldn't manage a classic 350 with this ease or comfort in city Rides.

I'm relatively new to the world of motorcycling but what I've realized is that every bike has a personality, it has a character and you need to get to know them from that perspective. The specs of a bike could be amazing on paper but it could feel lifeless while actually riding it. Which is why I think the style in which you review the bikes are more important to those interested. Your wisdom comes through because you try to bring out the flavour of each bike and it's not all about the specs. Finding the right motorcycle is in fact a journey to finding out who you really are. Consider me a fan. Thank you!

It's a lovely bike.

The honda will most certainly provide a more trouble free ownership experience if you can manage to lay your hands on one.

Honda has gone for a too plain jane exterior look in my opinion. The dimensions of the cb are larger than most bikes in this segment yet it doesn't appear muscular due to its stance.

Cruiser look is still not acceptable widely by indian audience , first choice is Standard My choice is Highness 🔥

Meteor looks more appealing, personally, with forward foot peg.

For me honda is clear winner . No doubt meteor made its comeback with strong points , it looks like an harley also but.. honda is winner with a lot of points

I was also confused between both, but decided to go for meteor 350 due to its service network and the engine is also now refined with less vibration

I will prefer meteor as it is easily available and no need to travel 100 kms to buy and service like Honda H'ness. But if Honda 350 is in my city I will buy it.

After watching so many of your videos Abhinav I subscribed today because of your love of motorcycles. And in this video no hate for either of the bikes. Only the passion for motorcycling. And about the bikes I like the fact that both RE and Honda have proved themselves to be competent. From all of the reviews and opinions on KZread and social media it's clear that both the makers have tried hard to please and convince their customers.

Honda even if it's 1000 KMS far away from you.

Great video as always.. could feel when Abhinav told 'I want both', as I test rode Meteor today and was surprised to see a RE this vibe free :) That is a great choice who do long distance more. For me, commuting and weekend rides, I prefer CB350👍

Honda did a smart thing actually by making the cb350 exclusive to bigwing showrooms RE is facing supply chain issues due to massive amount of bookings(just like jawa did) Honda managed to avoid that using the bigwing trick I think honda will expand the number of showrooms once they have analysed the market demand

Cruiser bikes are an American concept not European(or Indian). That's why world-wide they dont sell much. Look at Harley packing their bags and leaving India. Standard classics(RETRO) on the other hand are the modern rage lol. Sales of Classic 350 in India and Triumph's retro classic bikes all across the globe does prove a very vital point. I think Honda has hit the bulls eye with CB350 and the only limit is their dealership network. Once that takes place, well competition better beware😎 PS: In terms of biking taste Indians are way more Euro than US.

Yeah. The lack of time and the limited resources just won't let me commit to anything serious. Almost certainly all the time I am a one man crew with just a GoPro and my most basic iMovie editing software. I'll try to do this with more bikes, if I ever find the time to.

The perception is there cruiser is for petlu uncle riding with half face helmet. 😂😂 I'm not really sure why but the styling on the cb350 will be accepted by wider audience. RE had the chance to revive the Standard 350 platform with this new engine and make the oldest production motorcycle much more appealing as I don't see much Thunderbirds on the road. The classic is widely accepted because of the low seat height and more proportionate design.

Khaali cruiser riding posture se agar gaadiyan bikni hoti toh bajaj avenger ki sales kuch aur hi hoti (priced much lower than these too). But then jo "touring, touring" ka gaana lagaaye rakhti hai janta online comments section mein, barely half would even be serious motorists And any vehicle would spend 95%+ time on the city streets normally, and I'd personally like to be more comfortable for 95% of my riding time as opposed to the odd 5% ;)

Seeing all the CB and Meteor comparisons, I think it all comes down to one's taste and preferences, and also what the companies offer in terms of after sales. Me ? hah, I own a classic 350 in chestnut (nothing will ever come close to it because it's my first bike and bought with my own money) but boy, are those beautiful, beautiful machines.

Abhinav I decided to get the honda, meteor didn't feel that comfortable for a 6'3 guy, thnx for amazing content

I'd still say if you want hassle free ownership and an engine you can rely on for a long time its got to be the Honda. You may feel the connect more on an RE but the service from my experience is frankly not upto the mark. There can be hits and misses but as long as Honda stays bigwing with this and scales up soon, you should be in for a much better long term ownership experience

The guy in the end asking about Honda H'ness ...was it a tweak to make it appealing ? Anyways great work bro ! Will keep following updates

Clutch is light because of the assist clutch which is part of the slipper clutch. When you release the throttle clutch will automatically be applied halfway. You only doing rest of the work. This system is prone to maintenance and expensive to do service. Simple clutch is better.

Did take test drive of sf150 .. It was damn good and has complete control. But I was actually looking for a retro looking bike.. especially for Bangalore City

One question... What's your opinion about Himalayan 400 over this 2 bikes? Would be a good choice?

Please do a video of comparing of this two bikes 1. *Build quality*, saw a video, they told meteor uses plastic more than metals, meteor's speedo console is loose fit. 2. Is any touring seat and backrest is available for cb350.? 3. Both maintaining cost per year.

It's available in Siliguri and Aizawl. Shame that Honda doesn't have a BigWing showroom in Guwahati.

Our riding gloves are similar 😂 but i ride a duke 250 😜 i think honda would be more suitable for hilly areas where we dont have a long straight stretch of road like the mainland. Keep making these videos abhinav.. Much love from Mizoram, North East India where the roads are narrow zig zags and hilly 😀

Abhinav i think comparing the upcoming classics to the cb350 would be an apple to apple comparison, albeit the fact its going share the same rolling chassis from the meteor. Both the bikes look amazing and appealing however as rightly mentioned by you one is a easy going cruiser ,another an everyday use motorcycle for the millennial.

Hi Rashid. I think so too. The new J platform Classic 350 and the Honda will be an apples to apples comparison. Till then, it just about you want a semi-cruiser or a city bike.

Hey abhinav , pl clarify that my cb 350 engine heats much even i drive it for just 2 km... Is same thing for all honda cb or any technical fault with mine only ? Is it normal ? I used to drive TVS star city earlier 😁

I didn't feel any heat, but please keep in mind I ride multiple multi-cylinder big bikes on a daily basis which get super hot. So, my perspective will be different.

U forgot to mention the main look with which meteor resembles : "Avenger"

Hey abinav awesome Job But I do have a problem on Honda 350 the side panel of the lock had become pretty lose and it's unable to fit inside the clamp please help me how to fix it or if the side panel lock system has to be changed or what please need ur comments

Hi Abhinav, I really need your opinion. I planning to buy either interceptor or KTM adventure but my heart says Interceptor because its look and power but mind says KTM adventure which is good bike overall. Only one thing stopping me from buying interceptor is puncture issue and RE after sales service and I really like KTM adventure too but not sure which bike should be perfect for me. Just fyi I am not a off road biker, am a pure traveler for long tours and like to commute in the city as well so please suggest which bike should be more reliable ?

Get the Interceptor. Use a tubeless conversion kit. Outex or Way2Speed.
