I found a white '87 here in the states but found out from the Honda dealer it was made for the Canadian market, dash says "Fatten" where others say Helix. They'd never seen one before. Odometer reads in kilometers and it has a stock spoiler prep with a built in light on the rear. I think after '87 they only offered the American version up there but quite frankly, it's hard to find anything out about it. Helix name is in chrome on trunk and hood but dash plastic is stenciled Fatten. It's got about 15,100 kilometers on it. Previous owner did like you did and drilled speaker sound holes but Velcroed felt on top. I found some 3" chrome and black covers on eBay I hope to go back and retrofit in place of the felt to hide the holes and buffer accidental water. Love these bikes!!!

I'm looking to buy myself a second hand motorcycle. Daily trip to work is 30km round trip a day. Otherwise don't use it much, except for an occasional trip somewhere. So highways with 120km/hour limit sometimes. What's your opinion, should i get a Helix or nc750x DCT. It's between those two i'm having trouble making up my mind.

WOW! Very nice Tony! You really have put a lot of work into that little Helix! It's sort of a "mini Goldwing". The paint job looks great from what I can see and those accessories really add a nice touch! Keep up the good work and thanks for all the videos. They really do help me a lot and give me confidence when working on my 04 Helix. Thanks!
