Great Job T bone. Thanks Mrs T Bone for filming wonderful job as always
T-Bone! that my friend was an absolute pleasure to watch and listen to. What an absolutely amazing mechanic you are, others make it boring, over narrated and sounding difficult, but you my friend make it fun. All your one liners and sayings had me and my mate in stitches 🤣🤣 When that retaining clip went ping I was laughing and I knew Mrs T would eyeball it through space and if she wasn’t filming could have probably caught it and shouted “Howzat!” absolutely loved shop Cat getting in the video. Totally addicted to your channel brother 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks so much my friend. It would have taken me hours to find that clip, Mrs T saves the day
Very nice and educational video Mr and Mrs T-Bone, looks like everything went smoothly. 👍
I did learn another few things from this video, so thanks to you AND the folks that commented. I learned a couple new ways to lap valves in, either just with a piece of fuel line by hand or chucking the fuel line into my drill. Great stuff! Also gonna try the viewer tip on using a feeler gauge .003 over before tightening the locknut. That’s the first time I’ve ever heard anyone explain why the adjustment changes as the locknut is tightened. Now that I think about it, the threads having .003 play makes perfect sense!
Sir, another useful, and informative video. I have worked on a lot of automobile engines, doing complete rebuilds. I have found I lawn mower engines are so much more fun, and much lighter. That makes them more fun. Have a wonderful day To you and your wife, you make a great video team !😊

T-Bone, you were a bit rough manhandling that engine down into place! I’m guessing you were getting hangry by that time. 😂🔧👍

Excellent and Thanks.
How amount a video on getting the clutch off the output shaft. Or some good ideas to get clutch off. Thanks very much.
Theses engine are very popular on large blowers and they never change oil or air filter Rod thru block is common
That ring gap would cause the smoking for sure
Thank you sir!!!

Use gum out to loosen the coating of the nasty places, then power wash lightly. Take the recoil first.
Do you ever pressure wash engine first ???
Can’t believe you not using seal puller and fighting it out
Where do you get rings from? Thanks for the video , really helpful
@RaleysSmallEngines

We get them from Honda
I’m shocked at the amount of carbon from our cheap fuel Even breaking top of pistons top to ring area
broke carb mount
carburetor intake
Like my dead friend used to say if you cant find something call Ann. Thats my wife
U got that right. Yes. Dear. I am a good old southern boy. A good woman makes a good married married
Hey man my cylinder head has a gouge in the middle why?
Would the new piston with a longer skirt make for a more quiet running sound? Also where did you purchase the new piston?
@RaleysSmallEngines
Жыл бұрын
We are a Rotary Dealer, that's where we get 90% of our parts. I'm sure that's where I got it from. Sorry, I have no idea if a longer skirt will make it quieter. We stick to OEM or Rotary as close as possible to oem.

I’ve AllWAYS replaced piston and rod 90% of the time and have never had a problem OEM parts are the best parts Some major brands are very good also and have used a lot of Rotary parts

If I got to replace the torque converter on my UTV, what brands will fit ? Thanks very much.

Thanks for the reply. Take Care
Your wondering why you had to adjust your rockers so many times. The big nut threads have about 3 thousands clearance. So you can either add 3 thou before tightening or back the big nut off a quarter turn then tighten the lock nut down. You should be very close.
Does it have a steel sleeve

That’s what I thought to but I can’t fathom. Why you would even check the oil 🤔I’ve run my oil way to long to but it gets looked after really close until I can change it

Where is a great tutorial about how thing rings go on?....maybe its my eyes..how many rings are there on this engine?
Dish washer 😂😮
You need to be schooled on valve adjustment.
400 cc and only 11hp ? very poor motor tbh

Check proper ring gap. This guy does not know about that I guess. LOL
No thanks. A lot of bad stuff happening here.
