    Interesting review Paul👍 I average at 200kms per tank on my 2015 Grom but guess I am thrashing it up mountains all the time. I have never ridden it far on flat terrain but am sure the consumption would be better if I did. I like the stock bars too. I find the brakes on my pretty good and more than powerful enough for the power of the bike. I’ve done about 5.5k kms on mine so maybe they bed in better after they have some miles on them!

  • @RocketMan_Moto

    @RocketMan_Moto

    3 жыл бұрын

    Thanks! Yes, I'm hoping the brakes will bed in soon, otherwise there's always the option of better pads. It is quite easy to get carried away with the revs, and there's always a temptation to thrash the engine. I realised it's pointless, though, as this increases sound levels rather than any actual speed, lol :)

    Hello! So cool watching this landscape/roads I know so well :) Well done video. Wouldn't a slightly heavier + powerful bike make sense for you? Like a Huskvarna Svartpillen 401 or a Royal Enfield Hymalayan? I have had my 2018 Grom for a year now and still have mixed feelings. I love the size (I’m 5’8”, 160 lbs) but the lack of speed puts me in a sweat on the way to the gym or store, everyone is going 60 to 65 mph. I also have the Zoom pipe and love the fuller side. No Denali Mini Sound Boom? The horn on the Grom is toon timid, sounds like it’s apologizing. The stock seat on the 2018 is okay for short rides but I find it too hard and too hard edged after 15 minutes or so. I’ve almost ordered the lower fairings several times for a sportbike look. If I keep it, I will order the luggage rack. I’m looking at a slightly larger bike to replace it for my commutes here in Florida (Honda/Yamaha/KTM 300ish size). My Bonneville is faster, the Burgman 200 more practical but the Grom is just a different riding experience. Another excellent video.
