I have a stock 2nd Gen and love it. Great small, hilly, city car. Zippy for short distances. Rigid for corners. Short for alleys, parallel parking, and u-turns. And it "Fits" a ton of different types of stuff. I don't live anywhere Ithaca, but I want to drive my Fit there just for fun. Maybe Oakland, CA, too. It's just a fun car. Very simple and easy. If you have a carload type hobby it is great.

As someone who just purchased a GD3 Fit "Sport" for a daily, I approve of this upload. Thank you. I've already received the header, strut bar & drop in filter. Doing 2" header back w/ high flow cat, 1 resonator & a new FlowMaster muffler I've got laying around, should sound decent & hopefully wake this little L15 up a bit.

EDIT/UPDATE: custom full stainless exhaust from header back 2" piping, NO resonator & the FlowMaster DBX stainless muffler w/ dual resonated tips. Looks & sounds great. Very little drone considering only 1 straight through muffler & increased fuel economy to boot, getting around 2 MPG more average, with a slight difference in top end pull. Also restored/polished headlights & changed to LED headlights, marker lights & plate lights, OEM Honda trans fluid drain & fill, front & rear suspension OE type w/ end links. Looking, sounding & handling great. Although will be swapping out for coil-overs at some point.

@@izzy031096 I don't actually post videos to YT, I've put a couple up on the TrueFitCrew & Modified Honda Fit FB groups though. It actually sounds & performs very well. But I did ditch the drop in air filter & went with a pod filter set up. I actually just got the Unequal Fabrication cowl scoop & will be setting the intake up to run via that inlet at some point. The cool thing is I also did a lightweight flywheel. Did a crank position relearn procedure & it feels like it's been tuned. I will be buying the Hondata FlashPro at some point.

Always thought the FIT had major potential but didn’t know it was this much (doing research becomes fun)

I had a 2012 civic coupe automatic before my 2009 fit automatic, and the fit is just more endearing in every way possible. It has a much more fun feel to the suspension and drivetrain even though I am absolutely not faster than the 2012 Civic. The fit is just more fun to drive

That fit sedan looks like a cross between a corolla, yaris, and a civic

god i love the little spoon car.

i am going to make a replica of this car. just waiting on my k20a coming soon to replace the crv k20 ive got now in my 07 jazz/fit. id like to slightly change it from spoons version though with carbon trunk hood and grill from seibon and a front and rear carbon lip kit and side skirt kit from seibon also, bc coilovers. custom built and painted Phoenix yellow roll cage. will be keeping the rear interior and switching front seats out for a pair of bride vorga reclining seats in blue. since its going to be a daily want to keep the rear seats in but ill get them retrimmed in Official Bride blue fabric same with the headliner. looking forward to it. roll cage and paint is coming first in next month or so once the cage fabricated first. can build around everything else. also the engine bay is going Phoenix yellow with spoon blue accents and upgraded titanium hardware and have it all wrapped in a set of volk racing rays with advans to finish it all off✌💚

I drive a gd1 idsi i confirm its a great car . Better than most diesel hatchbacks with 1.5 dci . More spacious and far more stable

That fit turbo still has the oroginal CVT transmission? A really wnat know how much torque those cvt can handle.

Before you judge a 07 fit sport 5 sp with air intake and glass pack drive one for a few days . amazing little race car from the factory . honda really knows funn factor for little money . I been racing sport cars for 42 years . this fits are amazing street cars from the factory that won't put you in jail but will make you feel like Mario andretti every time you start the engine . !!

@@Bruno-my9uf Oh I love the Fit in general. I just don't think that first one was a good example of a "top tuned Fit." The video is old, and that was sort of the style back then sure. However there's no way those bags are performance oriented, the sedan is ugly, the transmission terrible, and the wheels flashy and heavy. It's the late 90s early 2000s high school parking lot garbage that I don't miss seeing anymore.
