If you ever need to clean up parts when assembling an engine use coffee paper. Its really good and doesn't break up.

Can you use d16 pistons in a d15 block, with a d15 cover, thank you?

You can put a little bit of trans fluid on the back side of the bearings i won't hurt it cause fluid is thin

You have to lube the bores and Assembly Lube goes on the barring not in the oil Galley

the bores have been lubed and relubed with 10w30 since i honed them

Why you never used d15b7 piston

I have a d15b block with a y8 head and a greddy turbo kit on and recently i let someone work on my car and didnt end up leaving it right. we bought a kit for a head gasket,intake gasket,exhaust gasket, water pump,timing belt, he did the values too but i had to adjust them my self and i realized he was a dumbass. but after adjusting the values the car runs good doesn't shake but still smells like gas coming out the exhaust and still smoking out the exhaust. He adjusted the timing with a timimg gun and no i get no boost. Any help or tips?

Hey I noticed that this con rods don't have oil ports, is it going to be an issue running it as a daily ? I mean the cylinders will be dry . Im realy confused

Hey I was watching your previous videos on this build series and I’m wondering if you ended up notching your block? I’m doing a similar setup with a D15B7 block, with a Y8 head, I will be running standard size pistons and bearings. Same exact parts setup. Just want to make sure I got all the information I can get! Love the videos very helpful and you give a lot of great info!!!

the oem transmission bolts lol this is a small stand, the bolts are short for most engine stands

88-91 spec jdm d15b. it’s a jdm d15b2, same thing

@@osmangarcia9721 yes, compression will be slightly lower because of the bigger combustion chamber. check the d series compression calculator online, rods are 134.5mm custom length

i think the stroke is better on these ones. 84.5 vs 90mm. b20 is barely 89mm, the d15 will enjoy revving more than the d16. i think the long stroke small piston was meant to give it enough low end to pull a family of 4 up a hill while still sipping gas
