What brand rear fender is that doesnt look like oem

Just to confirm, if I’m using a multimeter and I attach one lead to the blue output wire on the stator and the other lead onto any ground I should read 0 right?

Yes mate if it has 0 resistance to earth it most likely means it's shorted out on the coil windings or sensor to the earth metal hope that makes sense lol

@@adirtbikestory7916 just checked for continuity between the stator output and the negative battery terminal and it reads 0.9

Hi mate, I'm not sure of the exact reading but I don't think it should be touching earth at all, seems like your on the right track, if it's 0.9 then it must be earthing out in the stator, I got my new one from MX store, the wires were slightly diffrent but I explained in the video what to do with them

Yeah I got the exact same one and followed the steps to add the yellow wire to the ground. Still doesn’t want to make a spark and it still show’s resistance between the yellow/green and ground

How. Do you check if your spark plug is bad

You can do that visually. Put the plug into the plug and earth the plug on the engine (ie lie is against the head or the barrel) then kick it over and check for a spark.
