Play it at 1.25 X speed, sounds about right.

That was surprisingly impressive from both cars. Both have very good drivers, the Honda was just a bit quicker but the tC is no slouch.

Y'all are really praising a moded Honda cause it beat a stock TC, give them the same amount of HP, run the race again

I street raced a fucking Honda Civic Hatchback boosted with a 2012 Scion tC with only a Weapon-R air cooler and a ricer cherry bomb exhaust and whooped it's ass ayy lmao.

I don't know what that Honda has in it but but I have 95 coupe with d16z6 and I got pretty crushed by my friends 2011 tc but mine is stock completely nothing done. I think that tc can't drive.

I dont see any civic race cars but I do see Scion TCs in time attack and formula drift. So yea honda boys need to re check their compasses.

They aren't bad for what they are. Which is a Corolla with some nice extras. If you want to make them fast, save your money and go right to a motor swap.

@@someperson7 I don't know about swapping the motor N/A that 2ar-fe has already put down 270whp and that's just with cams, valve springs, a velocity stack intake (and obviously a standalone to properly tune it) obviously you can get a bit more from that still; but it is in my opinion an under appreciated motor for sure.

@@Jesppyy you can definitely get more from it, but I'd never trust it. It's just not very durable. Why build it twice. People are forever trying to build their existing motor, blowing it and then swapping it. Might as well save all that money and jump straight to the swap.

Slow cars doing slow driving.... Oh btw, I have slow cars too, it's cool. Also, why do these guys launch like they are on slicks? Doesn't make sense, you're just going to spin. It would be best to launch low and then just floor it. Civics have no balls, so you won't spin as much like that, and you should have more use of 1st gear. Trust me, I know. I've tried multiple launch techniques at the track, and the best times I received was very low RPM launches and concentrating on perfect shifts.

+I like cars i own a tC and the same year SI as my car would take my tC. problem is, the SI costs like 5 grand more. so i could theoretically put 5 grand of upgrades in my tC and smoke an SI like there was no tomorrow. but the stock tC doesn't hold a candle to an SI.

First gens are slower than second gens and factory both civics and Tcs are slow but they were designed to be tuning cars not race cars. You want a fast car factory better pony up another 10 to 15 grand 20 grand incase of the 1st gens. TCs push about 300 to 600 hp boosted much like civics so it all depends on your $$$
