Overall I felt the GS2 gave the car less lag in power, you were able to pull away even if not in the optimal gear. There was a smoothness and fluidness between gear changes and the pick up was improved too.
Adjustment is via the screw on the front of the unit, of which you turn counter clock wise 4-6 turns up to a maximum of 24 turns.

Thanks for your video. I am thinking about this its good to know it works and the code issue. By connection and the code, looks the module is faking the air temp. to the ECU to giving more fuel for the power.

I just installed one of these GS2 boxes in my Peugeot RCZ 1.6 Petrol and, after 200 miles and with no screwdriver adjustments, I am very favourably impressed. The car may, possibly, be a bit quicker through the gears, but it is definitely much smoother (especially up to 2500 rpm) and fuel economy appears to be about 5mpg better on a motorway run at 60mph. You are not going to shake the earth for £81, but I would certainly recommend this unit as a simple, cost effective and refreshingly impressive upgrade on a mid-range car

I have a 1.4 T Hyundai I30 I don't want extra power not fussed but all I want is the take off to be smoother. Is it worth getting one of these units for my car?

Could you maybe do a 0-60 to see the difference in performance with the chip?

I still think it makes a difference, if I unplug it and go back to stick it seems sluggish

I got 2 of those OBD2 devices and never made any of them read anything of my 07 Civic. Is there any trick about the connection or protocol that must be setup? I mean, the phone can see the OBD2 device, it just never talks to the car for some reason.

I know what you mean. What I find works is plug in the OBD2, then go to Bluetooth on your phone and find the device, it may not be obvious just search for new device, then connect. It won't show connected on phone, but go to the app for your OBD2 ( I use torque) and make sure your connection settings are set for a Bluetooth device

Totally fake. If you open up the wire harness, you will see only the red and black wires go to the unit So power going in, but nothing coming out., SCAMMM
