Civic reborn will forever have my heart ❤ the feeling this car gives is truly special. Especially manual 1800cc variant, I've raced Civic X and even X turbo. Reborn beats X without any competition but turbo overtakes past 90kmh

@@woloo9877 bro I’m driving a 2015 rebirth automatic now. The driving experience is nowhere near the reborn. If you wanna go for the reborn check up on these couple things with an experienced trusted mechanic. 1) engine mountings, those tend to wear hard. 2)engine manifold. 3) spark plug health 4) the car is very low, the exhaust and suspension, the underside of the car can tend to take a beating if not driven by a soft hand, if you go with it too please beware you have to be careful in khaddas. All this considered, I’d still take my manual reborn over the added comfort and features of the rebirth. Overall I would recommend the reborn, driving it hard I’d still get an average of 9 km a litre, if you’re softer on it you can get a much better average. To conclude, it depends on the car you’re getting, if it’s healthy it’s the best.

I drive 8th gen for last 12 years. You missed on 2 known faults of this model. 1) engine mount 2) belt tensioner Yours is clean Masha Allah. Just get a new cover for the brake pedal.

Guess what guys i have an 08th as well been driving the same car for the past 16 years now in ‘23 Beast is still up and running like the very first day but i have faced all the issues mentioned in replies and comments still keeping it maintained through authorised dealer ship. B2B and yea Karachi jbtw.

Very beautiful car Masha Allah, well kept. He is right about Chinese tyres. I have also not experienced any problems with Chinese tyres. I got them installed twice in my Mehran and now on my FAW V2 as well. No problems Alhamdulillah.

No it’s not because of rims. We had a one with stock alloy-rims from the start but still had the steering issue. It’s a manufacturing fault. Many people swap TRIBORN’s steering into Reborn to get rid of the problem permanently

I had a 2007 that had only 11000km on the clock over a period of 12 years..Plastic was still on the seats with new car smell.Sold it in 2019.Same color.Great driving car but tinny body
maintaining my reborn since 2+ years, this guys said many things wrong about parts prices regular maintenance etc. it is very cheap to maintain reborn then told in this video.

@@SaraKhan-qe2rg Prosmatic 8 Km/l in city with AC 11 km/l in city without AC (max observed in winter) 12 Km/l minimum on highway avg 120 km/h speed 14 km/l minimum on highway avg speed when below 100 km/h My car tyre size is 215 with civix X heavy rims R16 (stock tyre size are 195 R15) FYI, one point is equal to 2.25 litre. There are total 20 points which are equal to 2.25 * 20 = 45 litre. And there are 5 litres present on reserve also, which is present in fuel tank after 20 points

You should use 5w30 in any case 10w40 is thick for this engine and not recommended

I have been using water in the radiator instead of coolant since three years after i bought the reborn 2011 in the same condition total genuine and I was the second owner of the car ......So my concern is that I am using water in radiator and I have not seen any engine or temperature issue since i bought this car so it it ok to use water as I personally believe coolant doesn't create such big difference

Radiator coolant for civic reborn is available for Rs.300. Performance overall is much greater with coolant than with water.

@@jovialera6398 the radiator in a car is designed to keep the cars engine at its best performing temperature being not too cool and not too hot, at this optimum temperature the wear and tear on internal elements is minimsed and production of power from the engine is optimised too. Radiators are designed to run on coolant and not on water, radiators often reach temperatures greater than 100 C, where water evaporates. I think you're very lucky that you haven't yet faced any issue but you could definitely benefit from a better fuel average and less wear on the internal elements of the engine by switching to coolant rather than water. Water is only usable for radiators in cars as a stop gap solution when no alternatives are available. Really is a miracle that you've been using water in the radiator for 3 years and haven't faced any overheating issues.

@@jovialera6398 1 can of coolant is sufficient for 1 full top up of the radiator reserve, in the absence of any leaks and other issues it should be good for even up to 50,000kms but living in Karachi and driving ~20,000km a year, I would change it once a year or so. No need to mix water, that would make it less effective long run and given that it’s a very cheap part of maintenance, better to spend a little now than have to replace a full radiator and water body for the car later, which I also did have to do after my original radiator went bad after 130,000 km
