Had one back in 2002,absolute rocket ship,then got a zx12 r which was even faster!

Ho acquistato questa moto lo scorso anno. Una splendida moto. Unica cosa, ho avuto problemi con la pinza posteriore, in quanto si è inchiodato il perno delle pastiglie, fatto questo che, mi ha costretto a sostituire il pezzo, con uno usato.

I just did this on a really damaged engine with crank and rod replavement . Not just a clean up
what gets me is should of marked the pistons to where they go in each cylinder just saying

Good point. And the bearing shells. Every part should be kept in the correct order.
This was Hondas answer to the Kawasaki ZX11. Nice bike but here in the US they didn’t sell too well. Today they are very rare. Personally I like the ZX11 better but along with an early CBX I wouldn’t mind owning a Blackbird. Only thing wrong with the Honda is it’s a bit of a long reach to the bars. Typical Honda quality though.
У меня только один вопрос. А нахуа??? Достаточно было , максимум, заменить цепь грм и натяжитель.

А зачем разбирали,помыть чтобы!???Кусок успокоителя можно было достать сняв только поддон,ни одной дефектной детали равно как и новой!В чём смысл повествования!!!!???????

Not because you rich and successful in life that you need to get the top of the line cars or motorcycles or even big houses. Maybe he just love this bike so much. Could be his father´s bike and he inherited. Who knows.
