Hopefully by the end of this month I'll own an 81 750 F with 19k on it and I'll start the same process you have and I hope mine looks awesome like yours does. Ill be 70 later this year and its been a looong time since my last bike, but I am sure looking forward to it and riding again. I had a 1980 CB750F bought new when I was 18. Rode it everywhere. Loved that bike.

Me too. It was a "demonstrator" silver with small handlebat fairing. $3006. It was 30degrees F.

I had one of these. Fantastic comfortable bike. High quality instrumentation. Good handling once I found a set of tyres that matched it. You had to watch the camchain tensioners though. The front slipper could allow the main camshaft drive chain to fret on the chain tunnel and cause an oil leak. I took the engine down and replaced all the chains and tensioners. Expensive job but ultimately worth it.

Oh, you could lighten up a bit. Im sure he set it down like the precious beautiful thing it is. I would set down my pipes carefully too. Its all the good Earth.
