Honda CB350 Timing Light

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

1969 Honda CB350 Timing check with a timing light.
You can check your cb350 timing with a regular automotive timing light. You will need an extra timing cover so you can drill a hole on to it.

Excellent! Many thanks for sharing. Love the idea of using a spare cover with the hole in too.

Thanks for the video! I have a Draper 52616 timing light, will this work for the reading? Because I heard some timing lights are not compatible for bikes...

That timing light should work. Cant think of any reason why not. Just make sure your using correct spark plug cable.

I have a CM200T. Is the procedure about the same? Can I run it without a cover? I’m asking because I don’t have an extra one

if there is a circular cover it might be ok. Try it and see if oil spills out. I have never work on a CM200T before.

There is no need for the second side cover. You can run the bike without it.

@@MacrossGarage it's super-minimal.. (at least on my '72 cb350k4 bike).. and a piece of aluminum foil draped over lower frame rail and exhaust manifold if you're worried about it.. not like it's gonna puke amounts of oil out.
